that is relatively fast when we are talking transit world and how long it can take to get the projects moving. this is great news. the view of the bay bridge from where i am standing is gorgeous but it is another story when we are talking about the rush hour commute. the bay bridge is per perpetually congested. but there are temporary remedies including adding ferries and buses. >> these work. we do it during the bart strike and we will take emergency matters and make them permanent. >> they approved $40 million yesterday to relieve bay bridge traffic. it will fund additional ferry trips and new vessels as early as this fall. something that commuters from alameda are eager to hear. >> for the south san francisco route that started four years ago there were not man riders and now we have reached exist.

tomorrow morning. temperatures are cooler in man areas but in the 80s inland and the rest us are in the 60s and 70s and 50s along the coast. you can see the cooling trend is going in the south bay, it will take us into the mid-to-upper 80s and milpitas on one end and los gatos at 93. on the peninsula we go from mid-70s to mid-80s from millbrae to palo alto and nearly sick at the coast and downtown and south san francisco and sausalito cooler-than-average with mid-to-upper 60s and low 80s to low 90s from petaluma to santa rosa and 100s at cloverdale and clear lake. at sonoma county fair it just started and the temperatures were up to 87 at 3:00, and 80 at 6:00, not is hot as it has been, and along the east bay shore, close to average, and union city and fremont, upper 70s, and upper 90 to low 100s inland, but, again, if you are at game, nationals in town take on giants
