>> some people are returning to their homes tonight after being forced out by the soberanes fire in monterey county. the fire has burned more 55,000-acres and is 40% contained. a total of 57 homes have been destroyed, 2,000 more remain threatened by the fire. it all started as an illegal campfire left up attend. the fire wiped out one of six california con door feeding stations but none of the 82 birds living the big sur area have been killed. our media partner, mercury news, reported the fire is burning eight miles away from three nests containing young chicks. wildlife rescuerers are prepared to pull them if necessary. >> the fire in yolo county has burned 5400-acres and is 35% contained. calfire tweeted a warning no flying drones near the fire. it causes a safety problem for air operations. the fires burning close to highway 128, which will cause
