more breaking news. this time in san francisco. police confirmed to abc 7 news they're working a shooting scene at second and mission streets near a nightclub where there may have been a disturbance that led to someone being shot. we are waiting for police to return our calls for more information. police in san francisco say they have very few clues in the shooting death of a man playing pokemon go. >> 20-year-old calvin riley was playing the game on his cellphone on saturday night. he and a friend were at aquatic park,o(júñ a popular spot. a friend says gunman appearing out of nowhere shot and killed riley and then ran away. police say there was no confrontation leading up to the shooting. calvin riley graduated from serra high school and was on the delta college baseball team. the contra costa sheriff's office is investigating the suspicious death of a 59-year-old woman in blackhawk. the victim waspg4: found on qua run lane near quail run drive around 4:00 yesterday. homicide investigators belief the victim and suspect knew each

other. no word yet if that person is under arrest or the woman's identity. developing news now. the son of a kansas lawmaker is dead after what appears to be a freak accident at a water park and is making national headlines. abc 7 jessica has the details. >> reggie, 10-year-old caleb swaub was killed while riding the tallest waterslide. the child died at the schilletbahn water park yesterday afternoon. he was the son of scott swaub. the child was riding this 168-foot slide named the verruckt. it's known for reaching speeds of 45 miles per hour. during testing of the slide before it opened there were concerns it went too fast. engineers slowed it down. >> what it sounded like to us was that the harness in the front of the car on the slide was not working all day long. >> but the water park has not said what wen is still an investigation under way. meanwhile, also new this morning

his family has released a statement saying that caleb, quote, brought abundant joy to our family and all those he came in contact with. the family thanked everyone for support but also asked for privacy. the water park is closed today. in the newsroom, jessica castro, abc 7 news. we are learning more this morning about the 18-year-old who was killed in a skydiving accident in the central valley. friends and family gathered last night to remember tyler turner. he just graduated from high school in loss ban nos two months ago. this was his first jump. he was jumping with an instructor but their chute did not deploy. turner's mom talked about their final conversation. >> and he turned around and he gave me a hug. tightest hug,0ñ i ever had. i love you, mom. i love you, son. squeezed him. he got on the plane. >> the owner of the parachute center said the instructor was with veteran who had about 700

other jumps. new details in the sex investigation involving a young woman and several bay area police departments in a letter to city leaders richmond police chief alan brown says several officers likely violated department policy but they don't seem to have broken any laws. they're accuse of having sex with a woman known as celeste guap. in june she told abc 7 news i-team she had sex with more than 30 officers in the bay area. chief brown says the7%okjfirst investigation into the officers involvement should be completed in the coming week. we are tracking wildfires up and down the state this morning including a fast moving one that's forcing evacuations in southern california. abc's amy powell has dramatic video of the firefighting in the san ber nan dino mountains. >> reporter: ferocious flames tearing through hundreds of acres of dry brush. the wind driven blaze threatens homes in the summit valley area.

any structure loss. fortunately we have not had any structures destroyed yet. we have it in place the best we can to defend those houses. >> that was amy powell reporting. firefighters are making progress against the cold fire burning on the edge of napa and yellow counties. the 5400 fire is 60 percent contained this morning. cooler weather slowed the fire spread over the weekend and cal fire said firefighters are making good progress and re-enforcing containment lines. the largest fire in the state a burning in monterey county near big sur. right now the soberanes fire is 45% contained. it has burned almost 58,000 acres. that's exactly half the size of the city of san jose. you can see new images posted by cal fire. evacuation orders have been lifted for several areas. governor brown has declared a state of emergency. barring a last-minute settlement you can expect limited services again this week at courthouses across santa clara county. on friday court employees were on the picket line for the third

straight day. they're union is trying to bargain for a new contract. court officials say they can't afford the raises that workers like clerks and mediators are asking for. more problems and delays for b.a.r.t. new cars. there's now an issue with the high voltage switch in the car's power supposed polite unit. it could shut down when it gets too hot. around 300 degrees fahrenheit. problems with the same system in b.a.r.t.'s original fleet didn't come up until the cars had been in service for a number of years. b.a.r.t. was supposed to get its first new cars in december. that's now been pushed back to at least may of next year. let's see how warmly you're going to have to dress this morning. north bay, one of our cooler temperatures. everybody else about 50 to 55 degrees until you get over to american canyon and napa, 58 degrees. 57 in el sobrante. 55 in san francisco. redwood city, 59. south bay, you can see the -- i should say the bay bridge. not inundate with fog.

officers say the victim was gambling at park west casino in petaluma yesterday morning. the purse was taken after she left it hanging on a chair as she was gambling. more mosquito fogging is scheduled in the south bay. mosquito fogging will begin at 11:00 p.m. it will last for several hours. we outlined the area for you on that map. the county says that residents in the area received fogging notices on their doors.
