>> i heard it was moving away from anderson marsh but winds can change at any point. and this is the activity we have seen. these are the homes that burned here, this is a fire crew from east bay regional park. we've seen all kinds of crews up here, trying to help out. this is to make sure there are no flare ups. tonight there will be two community meetings, one as we speak in kelseyville and another in middletown. they're trying to keep people up to date and they can't let folks in until this fire

>> take a look at the fire area from sky 7 hd. we've been seeing smoke from the region. we've been checking crews fighting this fire from the air and evacuation centers have been set up and she mentioned middletown. >> the fire burned through 4,000 acres and spreading. firefighters say it's only 5% contained. sergio? >> reporter: the good news is that there are no major smoke plumes. the big job for fire crews is tracking down spot fires, inincluding areas that flare up again.

some shifting winds made it difficult. today, crews were putting out fires where he and his co-workers were cutoff yesterday. he lives where helicopter pilots come to fill up water buckets. he says it's eerie to see these again. >> another year. >> yes. another year. >> for those who chose not to evacuate, it's been an exhausting 24 hours, but the fire fight continues. we're talking to a resident that saw a new spot fire behind his house. >> the wind picks up we've got a breeze and one is behind us here. and that is all it takes. >> within minutes a truck pulled up and water buckets flew in. those choppers are part of a fleet that includes massive jets

police in san francisco are going after so-called bicycle chop shops. they started a operation to bust people who steal bikes and sell parts on the street. some say they're everywhere. >> why would anyone have this stuff? >> reporter: he hopes this will be a series of regular abatem t abatements on chop shops. prior raids have been in homeless encampments. here, on 18th and shotwell, freedman and officer chang discovered a huge cache of bikes and parts. police say parts are mixed to
