are on edge after a family in piedmont was the target after home invasion robbery. it happened near hampton terrace. three men entered the home and held residents at gunpoint. they ransacked the house. the robbers fled by car taking jewelry and cash. three years ago piedmont installed surveillance cameras to track cars entering and leaving the city. >> police are looking for to suspects after a man was bashed with a bottle and robbed on a bus this morning. it happened near 30th and mission street. the man was seated on a bus and holding his cell phone. one male suspect distracted the victims while one man approached him from behind and hit the man with the bottle. he wasn't seriously hurt. >> there are differing accounts of a private meeting between republican presidential candidate donald trump and the president of mexico. trump flew to mexico city to talk with mexican president pena nieto. trump said they did not discuss who would pay for putting up a

when you look at the two side by side you can see the difference between madeline and lester. madeline is a tropical storm. winds 70 miles an hour. hurricane lester, powerful category 4 storm. right now biggest concern is madeline. let's close in and i will show you the forecast track. 2:00 p.m. hawaiian time is the storm passing south of the big island but it is going to bring them potential pour flooding rain there and mud slides is not out of the question. madeline on thursday. 8:00 a.m. and moving away from the hawaiian island chain. just in time if you're heading for the holiday weekend to hawaii. lester could come into the picture. this is category 1 hurricane moving north of hawaii and continuing on the biggest threat with this one is going to be the big surf expected there. now in the atlantic, gulf of mexico we are watching a couple of systems as well. tropical depression 8. it will move away. and tropical storm erlene.
