turner was released from jail on friday after serving half of the six month jail sentence. turner initially faced up to 14

day weekend it is climbing to about 70 later today. lisa will be along shortly with a full accuweather forecast. it has been almost two weeks since a brutal unprovoked attack on a woman in pacific heights neighborhood. another woman saying she believes the same man stalked her that same day. abc 7 news reporter has the story. >> surveillance video is hard to watch. a man pounds the victim's face immediately. austin allen says this could have happened to her. >> he said something beginning to hey girl in a raspy voice. >> reporter: they returned to clay street after a night out. the suspect in this sketch darted after them. >> we managed to get in the gate and lock it behind us before he got there. >> for nearly an hour a woman

hermine now a post tropical cyclone is churning towards the northeast. it is doing a dangerous dance with the jersey shore as storm surges could put many of these beachside communities under water. >> as soon as this city puts the siren off i hit the road. >> and that was ginger z. if you like rock music with a bay area vieb head to at&t park for 2016 ton the green. it features the doobie brothers and tower of power. transportation officials advising try to avoid the congestion and use public transit. the music begins at 3:00.

good morning. waking up to a little bit of low cloudiness. this is doppler 7. a few patches of fog drifting into parts of the east bay but quickly evaporating. you heard the update on hermine. the bad news is that this continues to wreak havoc right along the beaches. the beach erosion and some of that water as it gets piled up could be waist high. they are not doing the thunderstorms here. in fact sunny skies but it will be a menace and remain a bit of a pain with a storm surge from virginia up to new jersey. here is a live look outside from our tower camera.

66 in san francisco, 69 in morgan hill. temperatures are cool. on the backside of a system heading out of town. numbers have warmed up 10 degrees. you were in the 40s early this morning. it is 61 by the delta. so nice and sunny from the coast to our inland valleys right now. this is all due to that system that brought the mixing and dissipated the marine layer. breezy and long the coast today. it really gets going with more summer heat returning throughout the week ahead. high temperatures today, check it out, only 66 degrees due to the cool weather system that's exiting the state. low 80s is all you'll do in sacramento. we do have sunshine at the coast. as we go through the rest of the workweek look at the 90s arrive in the inland east bay and the

heat presses towards the bay can mid-80s in richmond and we are still looking at quite opressive. overnight lows in the 40z. n -- 40s. we'll be looking at temperatures much warmer, warming quicker than today. 65 in san francisco. that is about 5 degrees below average. 76 in san jose and low 80s if you get up to lake port. so we are good for today. big warm up getting underway. mid-70s around the coast. wednesday and thursday the warmest days with mid-and upper 90s. really not that hot but low relative humidity and the fog won't be with us as the summer
