monday. the second attack was on thursday. for the second day in a row, emergency crews had to rescue someone from the water near aquatic park in san francisco. firefighters pulled a 40-year-old man out of the water just after noon today. they performed cpr at the scene and took him to the hospital in critical condition. the man was swimming when the emergency began. firefighters asked beachgoers to take caution because of rip currents and cold water. yesterday, 15 children and one adult had to be rescued in the same area. their 30-foot cathe boat went under. no one was seriously hurt. mother teresa of calcutta received the church's highest honor when pope francis cannonized her as a saint today. more than 100,000 people filled saint peter's square in vatican city. the pilgrims included members of the missionaries of charity, an order of nuns founded by her to
