turner's case received worldwide attention for the widely perceived life sentence and has to register as a sex offender in five days and will be on there for life. >> in texas there has been a shoot at a nightclub. >> here is what we know, a shoot ing at the club in southwest houston, new video from the scene moments ago. two people are hurt. one of the people was shot in the face. that person is now in critical condition. both victims are expected to survive. this were 200 people in the club overnight at time of the shooting. there are reports of multiple shooters, with no word on arrests or suspects at this point. also, right new, some people are saying that in houston the rapper, drake, may have been involved with the club dug an after party. he had a concert in houston last night. it is a fluid situation.

the weather seems decent as the threat of potentially deadly rip currents is high. >> back to traffic alert. this will be a long-term situation and here is a look at what is happening, westbound 580, the transition to westbound 80 trying to get to the bay bridge is fully closed. it will be four hours now. we have not been able to confirm if we have a flipped tractor-trailer but it is leaking fuel. we have seen more and more emergency crews arrived. on the traffic map we will see what this is doing on the roads. it is a holiday and most folks are not heading in on the regular schedule but we have the backup approaching the transition to westbound 80. you can get off on surface streets using grant road for an alternate or head south 988 to 880 at the bay bridge and holding out the door.

camera. cooler going. a warmer ending. nothing like what we are going to feel the next several days inland east bay neighborhood as we push 100 out highway 4 in pittsburg, antioch, discovery bay, brentwood. the good news? it will be clear and cool. at night. if you are on the water, unfortunately, can you not escape the breezes whether it is the ocean, the bay or the delta from 1:00 in the afternoon to 9:00 in the evening, 24 to 38 miles per hour wind. in the south bay, almost average at 80 in san jose, and los gatos is 82. in santa cruz, that is the brightest spot along the coast and the warmest at 73. i will have the beach forecast in the next weather. half moon bay is 63 degrees, pacifica is 61, and san mateo is breezy and 71. and the warmer spots is, say, redwood city at 76. if you are around san francisco, we will have a few clouds on the cost side but the bay side, it will be blighter and 67 downtown

involved in a collision here. it was leaking diesel fuel. it is a minor leak but they need a special tow truck. it is blocking three lanes and they decided to fully shut it down. that is the mess we are dealing with in the east bay. looking at half a mile backup on westbound 580 approaching that in emeryville and it is labor day holiday we are going to be okay in the big picture here, but, alternates you can look at eastbound 80 and turn around at powell street to get to the bay bridge or head down on 980 and take 880 to get to the approach. we are seeing light volumes through the bay bridge toll plaza. mass transit has special schedules with the holiday and that is heed. we will check with meteorologist mike nicco. >> we lose two minutes and 21 seconds of sunshine every every day during september. we will see what it does to our
