>> a fight at a hotel was the final straw for a san francisco 49ers full back. bruce miller is out of a job and facing accusations that he assaulted two men. good evening. i'm eric thomas. dan ashley is off tonight. >> miller is back at home after bailing out of jail. >> the team cut him hours after he was arrested. lilian kim is live in santa clara with the latest developments. lilian? >> reporter: this is his second run in with the law. he is back home at santa clara, not far from levi stadium. >> bruce miller's roommate answered the door and said miller had nothing to say. miller returned home after bailing out of jail where he was being held for aggravated assault. the charges stem from an alleged scuffle overnight. the security video shows miller bleeding and staggering at the fisherman's wharf moments after it happened. >> i told him it is private

the owners of a capsized riverboat can't be found. abc7 news was at bethel island where it capsized yesterday. they are trying to reach the owners, but they haven't heard from them. the people on board said they recently purchased the boat at auction for a thousand dollars. a salvage company says it could cost up to a thousand dollars. now to your voice and your vote. the allout sprint to the presidential election. hillary clinton broke her silence to reporters. it has been 275 days and they suggested russia may be working to elect donald trump. >> he very early on allied himself. >> trump spoke with reporters. he didn't rule out a long-term path for undocumented immigrants if the system is

and 7:00 in the morning. >> the drivers may see some relief this year they are testing out the new system at cal trans. they are potentially shaving minutes. traffic increased significantly. not just roadways, but public transit as well. >> we checked in with the transit operators to see how much things pick up on labor day. in the south bay they saw a 6% jump. san francisco's muni starts to see an up tick in early august. there is good news for drivers in marin. you are getting traffic relief because the tourists have gone home. the golden gate bridge traffic dropped 1% and ferry declined 15%. regardless of whether you dave or take public transit, your commute is about to get slower. stay on top of it at 4:30.

the park is closing after 52 years. the park officials voted to to clean up lead contamination. it includes law enforcement and security groups. >> it is just really sad. there is a lot of people who love this place and love the setting. it is a beautiful place. >> the area will beacon investigatorred to open -- will be converted to open space. >> persistence pays off for this young bear in colorado. the homeowner captured video of it dangling from the deck like a cat in one of those hang in there posters and then an idea. with legs flailing in the air it clasps its jaws around the deck and then with a little effort pulls himself up. the homeowner occasionally sees bears, but never seen anything like this. >> wow, that is incredible. >> it is incredible. >> some strength. >> i would rather see that from across the way though.

there it is. my monitor went out over here. i thought we were seeing nothing. these are our forecast features. it is mainly clear. we will see warm, sunny days into the weekend. hot inland on wednesday. let's look at the wednesday warm up. it will be clear and mild. the temperatures in the 70s. right around the bay bright and warm with highs in the mid 80s and perhaps even a little higher. the warmest inland spots will sizzle on wednesday with highs in the upper 90s to near 100. overnight we will see clear skies and an absence of fog. low temperatures in the low to mid50s. even chillier in the north bay valley. santa rosa and napa will see lows in the immediate to upper 40s. tomorrow sunny and warm in the south bay and we'll see mainly mid80sand upper 80s in gilroy. over to the peninsula we will see mainly upper 70s to 80 in los altos. half moon bay will top out at 64 and 66 at pacifica.

70 in south san francisco and even on the coast sunset district and daly city will be mild. low to mid60s on the north bay coastline. interior sections well see highs of 88 in santa rosa. 83 in napa. over in the east bay, 74 is the high in oakland. 80 in hayward and 81 san leandro and inland east bay in the upper 80s to low nineties. here is the accu-weather seven-day forecast. it is going to be a hot one inland. it is not going to get super warm on the coast. 70 is mild, but when you have 100 inland you expect warmer weather and that would -- that won't be the case this time. it will be a nice, warm week, completely unlike last week. >> still ahead on the news at 11:00, mystery yosemite newlyweds. >> tonight a photographer wants his beautiful picture to end up in the right hands.
