>> live where you live,is abc7 news. >> the security concerns at an upscale shopping super, police are investigating in san jose of an armed robbery last night at santana road. i am natasha zouves. >> i am christian. >> two women are okay after being confronted by two men with guns. one of the women talked with tiffany wilson who joins us from the scene. tiffany? >> yes, that is right. i got off the phone with one of the women with the victim last night and i have to say she sounded very shaken up and scared today. she said they were leaving the restaurant after dinner at 9:00. they walked tout their cars. two men approached them with a gun.

she said one had on a bandanna and hat. he grabbed her friend's purse and pulled her toward the car. she said her friend refused to let go of the purse and they dragged her across the parking lot in the car. she was injure but her friend did not go to the hospital. san jose police are not giving many details. they say only that they are investigating an am robbery at santana row and the suspects got away in a small white four-door car. tiffany works at a local boutique and walks to her car alone late at night. >> that makes me scared to close especially because when i close i end at 10:00 so it is dark out. i feel safe because there is usually security but...that make me scared. >> the woman who was with the victim last night said she wanted to get story out because she wanted women like tiffany and other shoppers to know

santana row is not as safe as it may seem. the property manager did not want to talk today. from san jose i am tiffany wilson for abc7. >> drivers in san jose are expressing relief after the arrest of a man suspected of shooting at people in cars. the san jose police response unit arrested this man, 30-year-old michael james lee lewis august 14 on chances unrelated to the shootings. detectives found a handgun while searching his home as part of the other case. tests determine the cause matched shell casings found on blossom hill road that have left drivers fearful. >> it is nerve wracking. our freeways are living close by, our kids are in the car, not knowing what was going on...who could it be? all the ten shootings took place between may 4 and august 5. lure business had an outstanding

morning, greeting students and faculty. this was written in chalk on the sidewalk, in front of the law school and the building calling for the university to remove choudhry in response to a letter that the former law school dean wrote to the newspaper. he is become on campus after being off for six months and in the letter he said "i have a right-to-work," he said he is not a sexual predator. the form assistant accuses him of hugging and kissing her on a daily basis and that said the touch was unlawful welcomed. the university said it violated the sexual harassment policy but allowed him for the fall semester. she is sue the university and constitutes are backing her, the sidewalk statements speak clearly with a rest yesterday and something students this morning are saying is a good step. >> it is positive that the school is speaking out or the schools are speaking out against sexual violence because colleges try to ignore it or cover it up.

people today to share a message with the public about the crime. >> new to developing news from oakland, city council member kaplan is questioning whether anyone is helping to protect celeste guap the woman at the center of a sex scandal creating new fallout for the department. she plans to speak on the steps of oakland city hall. the city announced a dozen officers are now facing consequences. investigators say each committed one or more offense including attempted sexual assault, lewd conduct, assisting in the crime of prostitution, accessing law enforcement databases for personal gain, failing to report crime and other misconduct. four officers have been fired. they are on unpaid leave and one is ordered to counsel asking training. celeste guap, the woman at the center of this, told her story for the first time to dan noyes who kept in touch with her as she the police department paid to send her to rehab in florida.

these pictures are showing parents outside of the school. the sheriff said the injure student ran outside to get help and taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. the shooting prompted a lockdown at alpine these public schools. >> new details on a pending strike of 17,000 at&t workers, and we have learned that employees will not walk off the job today. at&t said that their dispute with the union workers in california and nevada has been resolved. we are waiting for more detail on the new agreement and workers have been threatening to strike claiming "unfair labor practces." >> we have new repercussions from the ryan lochte rio de janeiro scandal. >> another twist in colin kaepernick's national anthem roast and how a soccer star's attempt to support kaepernick was stopped in its track. >> and the raiders' fate in sin city and what we have learns of the effort to lure the team away from oakland. >> good morning, i am meteorologist mike nicco. check out the picture behind me.
