>> live where you live, this is abc7 news. >> now the a 11:00, a helicopter rushes a child to an east bay hospital following a violent car crash. two other kids are rushed to the emergency room on the ground and one of the children has passed away. thanks for joining us. i'm eric thomas. >> and i'm kristen sze. the crash happened before 6:30 on interstate 680 in san ramon. an suv collided with another vehicle on the northbound lanes of 680. >> the children were rushed to children's hospital oakland. katie is live at the hospital with a developing story. >> in the last hour the chp said they arrested her and charged her with felony dui.

this is all as the family at children's hospital learn that 4-year-old elijah did not survive his injuries. elijah dunn after he was pulled from the mangled wreckage. dunn's grandfather p was seated in the rear of the driver's side of the toyota camry as they waited along 680 for gas. dunn's mother, the driver, pulled over on the right happened side of the roadway near the bollinger canyon road exit. the california highway patrol received the call that a white toyota sequoia seen here slammed into the back of the stalled car. pair immediate -- paramedics transported two others in the car as well. a 12-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl were taken to oakland, but they are okay. a mother is being treated at john muir medical center. she has a broken back, ribs and other severe injuries.

the driver of the suv was transported for her injuries, but there is no word on her condition. chp shutdown the lanes to investigate, but by 9:00 all lanes reopened. we are still working to confirm more details about the driver of the suv. the suv rather. chp says it is a female driver and she has been treated for her injuries, but they have not yet released her identity. live in oakland, abc7 news. >> thank you. now to developing news from bart riders, there are delays on the system after someone got run over and killed by a train earlier tonight. just before 7:30 they ended up on the tracks. that station was closed for two hours and reopened around 9:30. >> loved ones honored a mother to be tonight who was gunned down this week. the 18-year-old died after being shot to death on monday

in san pablo. abc7 news was at the bay area peace keepers in richmond where friends and family gathered. mccoy had been going to the teen center since seventh grade. mourners wrote notes and shared stories about her. they talked about the positive person she had become and looking forward to seeing her as a mother. >> she truly wanted to succeed in life. i know she and aspirations about being with her daughter. >> i was looking forward to being with the child at some point. >> mccoy wanted to maybe become a police officer. now to the sey x scandal involving -- sex scandal all over the bay area. they announced criminal charges against seven east bay police officers, five with the oakland police department and one with the contra costa county chary riff's office and one with livermore police. the charges come after a month's long investigation

involving a teenager known as celeste guap. she said she had sex with officers including when she was underage. >> there are 775 police officers in oakland. this is a handful of people who have brought shame on that department. >> o'malley says there is evidence some officers had sexual encounters with the victim in other counties. there is another investigation in san francisco right now. they say, quote, the consequences of poor judgment and bad behavior can end careers and shatter lives. we streamed the d.a.'s news conference live so we can watch the news as it happened. our live streams are always available through the abc7 news app that also sends out alerts as news breaks. >> a san francisco woman is in jail after police say she slammed her skater board into the back of an officer's head cracking his helmet. on monday evening police say vera attacked the officer.

he was on his bike and she walked up behind and with two hands swung her skateboard at his head. after being hit the officer grabbed the suspect. he was treated for an injury and was not seriously hurt because of the bicycle helmet. former san francisco 49er bruce miller was in court facing seven felony assault charges. they say he beat up a 70-year-old man and his 29-year-old son. melanie woodrow spoke with him outside the courtroom. >> former san francisco 49er bruce miller would not talk about what lead to his arrest. >> do you remember what happened that night? do you want to say anything? >> i am just not at liberty to talk about it right now. there is an investigation going on. >> sundays are for the boys, miller posted on instagram over the weekend. around 11:50 on sunday night a manager atom me's -- atom me's restaurant say he tried to take a customer's food. veronica gave us this cell phone video. >> you're tripping.

tonight we have details about the serious warning about the smartphone. the consumer product safety commission announced today anyone with a samsung galaxy note 7 should turn it off and stop using it immediately. katie explains live from samsung headquarters in san jose. it does follow dozens of explosions and fires. >> reporter: kristen there have been 35 fires involving the phone and one will be on the phone. a man called it in. >> the air bags started exploding. >> his samsung galled lexy -- galaxy note 7 was charging his

into about 10:00 in the morning. by the afternoon you are looking at the fog hanging tough near the beaches. everyone else is seeing the sunshine and the temperatures will respond. up to 92 in antioch. 90 in livermore and 70 in oakland and 80 in santa rosa. 82 san jose. 64 in san francisco. cloudy on the coast. 61 in half moon bay. mountain view art and wine festival taking place the next couple days if you are going. temperatures in the morning will begin in the upper 50s. the winds will be light and sunny and warmer. 77 on saturday. you need two things. your shades and your sunscreen. look at the temperature trend. a word of caution here. while san jose is running at average or just below it on sunday, really a big drop in those temperatures as we head into early next week. a good 10 degrees cooler than average for a tuesday and in some instances as much as 15 to 20 degrees cooler. here is a look at the cooling come and the breezy conditions on monday. you will notice the 70s only for our warmest inland
