if you are headed to the a's game it should be sunny and mild. comfortable with temperatures near 70 degrees. we do have a cool trend coming up, and i'll tell thaw the accuweather seven-day forecast. chris. >> thank you, frances. this morning a four-year-old has died. the child was in a vehicle on san ramon on northbound 6780 when the woman was hit. >> paramedics airlifted 4-year-old elijah dunn after he was pulled from the wrangled wreckage of his mother's car. the boy was seated in the rear on the driver owes side of the toyota camera as they waited for gas. they pulled over on the right-hand side of the roadway near the bollinger road canyon road exit. 6:20 the highway patrol got the call, that a car had slammed into the back of the stalled

car. paramedics transported two other children in the car as well. a 12-year-old and a 2-year-old taken to children's hospital in oakland, but they are okay. the mother is currently being treated at john muir medical center. she has a broken back, ribs and other severe injuries. the driver of the s.u.v. was also transported for her injuries, but no word on her condition. chp shut down lanes to investigate, but by 9:00 all lanes had reopened. cbs7 news. family and friends honored a mother to be last night who was gunned down in san pablo. she was shot to death on monday. abc7 news was at the peacekeepers in richmond will loved ones gathered together. mccoy had been going to the teen center since the 7th grade. mourners wrote notes to her and talked about the positive person she had become. they were looking forward to

seeing her as a mom. >> she truly just wanted to succeed in life. i know she had a lot of dreams and aspirations be about being a good daughter. >> and i was really looking forward to being able to hold the child at this point. >> mccoy wanted to become a mentor at the peacekeepers and talked about maybe becoming a police officer. criminal charges have been filed against more than a half-dozen east bay officers for their involvement in the widespread police sex scandal. all men charged are or were oakland police officers. another was in oakland and another in the contra costa police office. they face multiple charges. we have. details on the case. >> we left no stone unturned in terms of the evidence.

>> reporter: after scouring pictures and facebook and bay area so he shall media, seven will the charged in the case. the center of the case is a teenager. the teenager said she had sex with officers, including when she was underage. >> hardworking men and women come to work every day as police officers. >> five charged are being linked to the oakland police officer. officer brian buntun. and is others. felony oral copulation with a minor, and one charged with making searches without permission and retired sergeant lee roy johnson for failing to report sexual misconduct against a minor. and is one in the contra costa sheriff's office and one in the livermore pd have resigned.

there is evidence some had sexual contact with the victim where areas where they had no jurisdiction. in a statement, president of the oakland police officers association said the actions of a few are disappointing. elizabeth harrington, abc7 news. oakland mayor libby shaft released a statement saying it's clear the consequences of poor judgment and bad behavior can end careers and shatter lives. 5:05 is our time. happening today the oakland police department is holding to the forum from the public to see what they want in the city's next police chief. oakland has been without a chief since june. that's when the former chief resigned, followed in quick order by appointing chief bench pharaoh, who was dismissed, and another one who resigned. in all, three chiefs in 8 days.

they are all thought to be involved in the sex scandal that has rocked the department. the deputy chief david downing is now acting assistant chief. today's forum is at nonon myrtl avenue. former 49er bruce miller made a court appearance yesterday. miller is facing felony salt charges after he allegedly beat up a 730-year-old man and his 29-year-old son. the 49ers released miller from the team earlier this week. melanie woodrow caught up with them and have the story. >> reporter: 49-year-old bruce miller would not talk about what led to his arrest. >> do you remember what happened that night? do you want to say anything? >> i'm just not at liberty to talk about it right now. there's an investigation going on. >> sundays are for the boys, he post today instagram over the weekend. around 11:50 last night a managering at the tommy joint restaurant said miller tried to take customers' food. we have this cell phone video.

a manager escorted miller out. >> i don't even know who you are. >> miller allegedly tried to get into a 70-year-old man's room at the fishermens wharf. when he told him he had the wrong room, he allegedly charged at him and punched his 760-year-old father with a cane. >> it's a major embarrassment to us, not only because they were visiting the city, and unfortunately they were victimized, but also this is a clear case of elder abuse. >> surveillance video captured miller across the street at the travel lodge. his forehead was bloody and he was stumbling. >> how was your head injured last night? >> i'm sorry, excuse me. >> a motion to increase his $178,000 bail was denied. the court ordered miller to stay away from the victims. his arraignment was moved to november. in san francisco, melanie woodrow, abc7 news. a san francisco woman is in

jail in this morning after police said she slammed her skateboard into an officer's head, crack being his helmet. the 21-year-old attacked the officer at fifth and mission. he was standing on his bike. she walked up behind him with two hands, swung her skateboard at his head. after being hit the officer was able to grab the suspect. he was treated for an injury but was not seriously hurt because of the bicycle helmet. happening today in the east bay, the urban police east bay will continue following the arrest of nearly two dozen protesters yesterday. we were tem almeda county fair grounds as the pro testers chained themselves together on friday. they blocked traffic. demonstrators want the event to train police for disasters stopped. theycy isolates a factor in deadly police shootings. >> we believe true safety comes from building up community resources and practices, alternatives to policing. >> it's hard tore -- for me to

a walk later on this afternoon. live doppler 7 right now showing us a lot of cloud cover at the coast, spilling into the bay. and this is limiting some visibility, especially near half moon bay. it has dropped down to a mile and a half. right now it's at 3 miles. and also limited visibility in petaluma. elsewhere it's looking fairly clear. we have the low clouds over san francisco, as us can see the top of the transamerica tower is covered. temperatures are mainly in the 50s. a few 60s out there. san francisco is 55. oakland 59. mountain view, mid-50s. from sfo we also see low clouds. we could see some flight delays later on this morning and where he will keep you posted on that. santa rosa 52, napa 55. a lot of mid-50s as well. novato, fairfield, concord 57. and this time we are looking toward the bay bridge. here's what you need to know. temperatures come up today, then they are down tomorrow. we are going to be sharply cooler on monday. then more seasonal late week.

so i want to give you a heads-up for the much-cooler monday. i'm talking ten degrees cooler than average. for example, in san francisco, the high will be about 60. below the average. 70. same thing for oakland. 64. definitely grab a jacket on monday and make sure the kids have one as they head to school. highs today, it will be cool at the coast. half moon bay 61, breezy there, as well. san francisco 64. and also below normal in oakland today at 70 degrees. warm inland. if you like sunny and warm temperatures, you will find the 90s in livermore and antioch, and san jose at 82 degrees today. of course, here's the live shot at the boardwalk. if you do need some relief from the heat, head to the coast. it will be breezy. most temperatures in the 60s. cloudy and cool. but santa cruz is looking pretty good, hitting a high of 70 today. and there's mountain view art and wine festival. here's what i meant about temperatures coming up today and down tomorrow. we will be in the upper 70s

here's the monday where we are expecting temperatures to drop. a system is moving to our north and that's going to bring much stronger onshore flow and breezier conditions, which means temperatures will be a lot cooler. so 60 degrees in san francisco, only 60s around the bay, and only mid-to upper 70s inland. tuesday we are going to be below average. wednesday is when we start to warm up. hears the accuweather seven-day forecast. so you will see a very similar pattern. we've got the morning fog, but a slightly warmer afternoon. the hays will be in the low 90s inland. then temperatures a little bit cooler for sunday. monday is where we see the big drop. morning drizzle. a very breezy afternoon. tuesday we start to recover just a touch with some drizzle during the morning hours. and then notice the temperature trend starts to change. we start warming back up midweek, and we should be back normal by friday. you want to keep track of the
