the santa clara sheriff said that they were call out here not during school hours but at 7:50 p.m. last night. a department spend confirms this was a deputy involved in the shooting and that deputy was not injured. a source in the scene this morning said an ambulance did leave the neighborhood but no word on the person's condition inside the ambulance. the drill scene unit has been on the scene overnight investigating and they are still here now. >> i can confirm there lab sheriff deputy involved shooting. all standard protocols are followed. it shows how dangerous our job is and when i have more information i will let you know. >> now the main access to the school is still blocked off by police tape and we reached out to find out what the school is doing when the kids arrive for class. we have not heard anything back

but we monitor the situation and bring updates as we get them. from saratoga i am tiffany wilson for abc7 news. >> thank you. you may have felt a small earthquake that hit the east bay overnight. the 3.5 earthquake struck at 12:50 centers in oakland west of highway 13 and south of lincoln avenue not far from the more monday temple. people felt it from pittsburg to milpitas and many reported a shark jolt. the u.s. geological survey said there was a depth of three miles which is shallow. >> if you details of the widening police connection scandal with san jose less. last night the investigation was reported on to the officers and we read the report. police say they were first made aware of the scandal involving the 19 year old in mid-may. by early june, the office of professional accountability said that they had linked several officers to the teen and investigators combed through more then 10,000 text and 5,000
