three-day weekend. >> reporter: they thought they were just answering questions and handing out surveys about how best to relieve tourist questions. some require a toll for drivers using the street and hire more parking control officers or make crooked street for pedestrians only. some want staffers to remember many were here first. >> people who say those people onrush sheen hill if -- 0 russian hill if they didn't know what they were getting into, they would have move. 60 years ago my mother did not know what she was getting into. >> reporter: it is not hard to see the problems. 16,000 people visit crooked street every day. some are loud and incon dash darr inconsiderate and some don't see a problem. >> people should expect to get

tourists in these places. >> reporter: they will analyze residents feedback and make a recommendation at the end of the year. in san francisco, lisa amin do lesion, abc7 news. >> dan: freedom may be hours away for the woman at the center of a sex scandal involving local law enforcement is set to appear in a florida courtroom tomorrow morning. >> she is expected to formally accept a plea deal after being arrested for biting a security guard. >> her release would free her up to return her to the bay area and testify against officers facing charges for their involvement in a wide ranging sex scandal. >> melanie wad row is live where officers are facing the fallout. melanie? >> reporter: according to his attorney at least one officer is facing severe discipline and more notices could be issued this week. in a five-page letter to

officials they say the department investigated 11 current and former officers regarding their involvement with the woman who calls herself celeste guap. the chief said the engagements were noncriminal. it varies from termination of employment to reprimand and counseling. the chief said the investigation exonerated or eliminated some of the 11 officers. a break down of discipline actions and for how many officers was not released. richmond's mayor said he asked for it. >> we will get the same level of information the mayor gave regarding the oakland officers. it is important to get all they can. >> reporter: he represents some of the officers. >> some of the officers are calling their lawyers saying what is happening to me. >> reporter: so far only one richmond police officer has received a notice of intent to discipline. he called the discipline severe. >> anything from a 30-day

suspension up to termination. >> reporter: tomorrow in florida guap is expected to accept a plea deal in exchange 4thof july -- in exchanging for a reduced charge. in a letter chief brown said representations we sent this teenage witness away or had her removed to florida distort reality. abc7 news. >> dan: new tonight oakland police accidentally deleted a large portion of its body camera videos. the chronicle reports 25% of all video clips were deleted in october of 2014. it came to light during a murder trial now underway. police say it happened when the city employees in stalled a software upgrade. an employee reportedly clicked the wrong button. it is unclear if the missing video will affect any on going cases or trials m. >> dan: an officer fired shots at a suspect is. they were above plymouth lane

and hillcrest avenue where they spotted a stolen car after being hit with the car the officer fired several shots that did not hit the suspect. police arrested 27-year-old ryan carrie after a brief struggle. he has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon on an officer. several people were forced from their homes after a fire. it happened at the broadway plaza apartments. firefighters put out the flames in just 20 minutes, but it had already destroyed two units and damaged four others. one firefighter sprained an ankle during the response and no one else was hurt. a misfired cannon injured a student. he had cuts to his hand and injured his thumb. the cannon was a homemade project that the student was testing as part of a sports leadership program it suddenly went off and the bleeding stopped before it was taken to the hospital.

>> dan: a woman accused of a dui crash had a previous dui arrest. she is the wife of an alameda county deputy. she also feasted child endanger -- she also faced child endangerment charges for having her 10-year-old in the car. they said she was under the influence of a drug when her suv slammed into the back of another vehicle. 3-year-old elijah dunn died in that crash. his grandfather said he should not have been on the road in the first place. >> this is ridiculous. something has to be done. if they don't do something this time, something is wrong with our judicial system. >> his license was scheduled to be suspended in july when they scheduled a hearing that postponed the suspension until next month. the search is continuing for the man who attacked an elderly woman in her own home

twice. the 89-year-old woman was discovered last night inside her home on north cragmont. katie is live at the santa clary raw county sheriff's office with the story. katie? >> detectives are trying to identify the two men. she was able to talk with detectives, but she was not able to give a detailed description of the suspects. >> she is the sweetest lady i have known. >> fl on -- flo douglas was quick with a waive and a hello. now she is in intensive care. >> if you are going to rob somebody, rob them. don't beat them up, especially somebody as helpless as -- as that. >> reporter: the sheriff's office said two men broke into douglas' home where she lived alone since her husband died.
