>> breaking news from abc7. all the breaking news is in martinez with video over the citizen moments ago of a car crash that resulted in haz-mat scare. >> shelter in place and underway after chemicals spilled on the road during the crash. haz-mat crews are there work on a clean up. laura has the latest? >> yes, the shelter-in-place has been lifted in the past half hour. this is the scene from sky 7. quite a number of agencies are out here and we have the fire department, highway patrol and various other haz-mat teams and this originated with a car accident just before 9:00 this

morning and ever involved into a haz-mat incident and from the ground, as the haz-mat teams were coming through the two cars, the issue here is that the small white pickup is actually a pickup that works for a pool-cleaning service and there were pool chemicals inside the small pickup. we are talking about chlorine and pool acid triggering has mad incident. there was a shelter in place for an hour and as half as the chlorine cloud released. we will hear from the contra costa county fire captain. >> at 9:00 this only a vehicle accident results in a chemical spill and two injuries that were for the occupants of the victims not relate -- of the vehicles that resulted in a chlorine gas cloud and it was an accident involving a transport of pool

amy? >> yes, quite a crash. look mind me you can see evidence of the crash at the scene. this crash took out a light pole that happened right across the street from at&t park. a very populated area especially right now as people are starting to arrive for the afternoon's game. this is what the car looked like after it was stolen, raced away from police, and crashed at 2nd and king. it was what people living in the area could not believe. >> crazy. never seen a car beatenning like that. there were three people inside the car all wanted for stealing the car. >> two of suspects stayed in the vehicle and one bailed from the vehicle and there was a short foot pursuit. officers were able to detain that subject and make an arrest on all three suspects. >> it started after 3:00 a.m. in san francisco in the richmond district at geary and 25th avenue. three men walked town a man standing outside of his car.

>> they indicated that they had a firearm. they took his car. he contact police and the description went out over the radio and out to patrol officers. >> they tried to do a traffic stop and the driver took off. police pursued the car until it crashed next to at&t park. the wreckage forced the shutdown of southbound embarcadero at towns end until 7:30 this morning. it is. inally safe and you never see figure like this. it is quiet. and you do not hear any commotion or expect anything scary like this to happen. hopefully no one was hurt. >> there were three people in the car that were taken to the hospital just to be checked out. police say they are expected to be okay but they have not released their names but they are in their 20s. when they are released they will be booked into jail. in san francisco for abc7 news.

>> happening now a san francisco unified school is on high alert after a parent saw a post threatening the school. principal at the high school called the police and placed the school on lock out so classes are still in session but students are not allowed outside. right now there is an extra police presence and security around the school. right now, no other schools are affected. >> the woman at the center of bay area police sex scandal is set to speak hours after she was released from jail. the woman is celeste guap and expected to speak in florida with her attorneys. this is a look at where the press conference will be happening. celeste guap accepted a deal this morning for biting a security guard at a rehab center and can come back to the bay area and testify in the cases of law enforcement implicated in the sex scandal. officers in several departments are accuses of having sexual relations with her and her attorneys say she wants to help

rescue sex trafficking victims in the future. we will bring you the news conference as soon as it begins and we are streaming it online and on our free app which you can download in the phone app store. >> developing news from the east bay, oakland police are investigating an early morning homicide. we sky 7 was over 35th avenue and international boulevard. a car was stopped in the middle of the road. police found a man in the car at 4:30 with gun shot wounds. he died at the scene. this is no word on a suspect. or motive. in the south bay san jose police are investigating a late night shooting near peed monday hills high school. you can see the location on the map, sierra near quincy drive. police say that is where they found a man with a gunshot wound after 10:00 last night, a second shooting victim showed up later and both were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive. police are searching for a suspect. >> new this morning, 100-year-old san francisco woman caught in a housing showdown is now hospitalized just before she was set to be evicted. we featured her right here
