mears a live view as we look toward the bay bridge. here's how the day plays out. sunrise 7:01. temperatures in the low 50s to low 60s. starting to warm up by noon. and then getting hot. inland will be reaching 100 degrees. around the bay 90 and even along the coast 80 degrees. for sunset at carolyn. >> police in charlotte have released video protesters have been calling for. but does it show if officers were justified in the fatal shootings of a black man? the video appears to actually raise more questions than it answers. as you know, police have been under heavy pressure to release the dashcam video. this one from an officer's body cam following several nights of

possession of a hand gun. >> they also released this photo of a gun and an ankle holster they say he was wearing. investigators say that testing on the gun found at the scene allegedly matches scotts fingerprints, dna and blood. lawyers for scotts family continue to cast doubt on the police account. >> he doesn't lunge at the >> the streets of charlotte swelled with protesters for a fifth night. saturday they hope remains peaceful. sky 7 was above oakland as protesters marched in solid soly with those in charlotte.

there was a heavy police presence. officers stayed on the move and prevented them from reaching nearby highways. several times protesters blocked had 14th and broadway. three people were arrested on suspicion of vandalism, and the obstruction of a peace officer.

basketball clinic. it was at the team's practice facility in oakland. clay thompson along with grant and draymond were there to meet 100 parents and children. there were skills stations, shooting competitions and a wellness station. all proceeds from the clinic benefit the warriors community foundation, which is committed to supporting youth development in the bay area. training camp, by the way, begins on tuesday. it's that time of year. some teenagers suffering from serious illnesses or injuries got a second chance at what is considered a young person's right of passage, the prom. many were either hospitalized or they were just too weak to attend. so last night they got a makeup prom. abc7 news reporter lisa amin gulezian was at this special event in oakland. >> are you ready? >> reporter: lights, camera, action! it's prom night for 100 teenagers. but this is no ordinary prom.

tonight is for survivors. >> i'm glad i have another chance at living. >> the teenagers at kaiser permanente oakland pediatric prom may have missed out on their own prom or first dance because of injury or illness. this is a do-over of sorts that includes complimentary hair, makeup and formalwear. it gives the kids a chance to a lot of times they have to grow up older than they have to have all these treatments. >> beautiful! >> she is a year into her fight with leukemia. as she got ready, bittersweet tears fell from her eyes. >> it's incredible how life works. you battle through it, you try your hardest, and then you just overcome it. >> she asked her cousin to be her date for the special night. >> i'm not big of a dancer but if she wants to do it, i'll do

so you felt want to hid to the coach but it will warm up there, as well. we are looking at san jose and we are seeing some of the sunrise. parts of it just headed our ros. napa, novato, concord at 61, livermore at 67 degrees. and this time from mouth cam we can see the bay and how clear and calm the waters are. that's going to allow things to warm up today. so we've got sweltering heat today and tomorrow. a red flag warning in the north bay hills. mainly the hay her elevations. spare the air today. poor air quality in a couple neighborhoods, mainly the inland east bay and the santa clara valley. tomorrow will likely be another

spare the air day. you may want to consider car pooling or taking mass transit for monday's commute. highs today will be near the triple digits in some inland locations. so livermore getting high or reaching a high of 100 degrees. san francisco 7. oakland 90. san jose 94 degrees. so maybe you want to head over to your neighbor's pool or you can head to the beach. here's a live shot. even at the coasted to temperatures mainly in the low 80s. >> santa cruz getting up to 82. the ocean temperature is cool at 58 degrees so you might want to jump in for a little cool-down. notice how temperatures quickly climb up into the mid-90s. if you can avoid being outdoors, the hottest time will be between 12:00 to 4:00 today. make sure the kids have sunscreen. at least tonight things will cool down. it will be mild in the inland areas. low 60s. but check out the north bay

he was just 24 years old. developing news, police are investigating a triple homicide in a southern california home. they are also looking for a missing 17-year-old girl, who is considered at risk. police found three bodies, two men and a woman, at a home in fullerton. officers say they received a call from a child saying her parents had died. when they arrived, they found two young children alive inside the home. the relationship between the three adults and the children is not known. >> happening the netflix documentary audrey and daisy premieres in los gatos. it's partly based on a high school sophomore who took her own life after she was sexually assaulted in 2012. it takes a look at the world -- the issues teenagers face in the new world of social media bullying. today there will be a free screening at the los gatos
