seeing a lot more of this, cancellations, 14 canceled flights today. from san francisco. across the country, airlines have cancel more than 2,500 flights because of hurricane matthew. here is what is happening, these are flights to and from florida, we have two departures to orlando, two departures to miami, one night fort lauderdale all canceled and from florida, three flights from for the laud detail and these in orlando and three from miami. there are no delays or cancellations at oakland or mineta san jose international airport and a republican is because oakland has no direct flights to florida. it is a tough day of traveling for people heading to and from florida. in that is director destination, check your flight early. try and make other lands if you are affected. >> now to drew team -- tuma

>> now an update from abc7 morning. >> we have learned the man involved in a police chase and shootout in south carolina after hurricane matthew evacuations has died. i told you of the story at the top the hour, the man led police on a car chase as authorities tried to re-direct cars that were evacuating for hurricane matthew. necessity say that he went around the traffic cones and police followed him and reportedly to a dead end road where the man got out of the truck and opened fire. he died after the hospital.
