we learned hurricane matthew now is being mailed for the first death in united states. a person died overnight in st. lucie county. this is live doppler hd show you where the hurricane is, and, again, category three downgraded from a 4, and florida is being hit hard and the eye as you can see is still off the coast and that is the pattern all morning long and overnight the all the big question: will the eye actually reach land? right now strong winds and rain are pummeling the state and we will give you a look at the county where minor damage on the dock or pier. trees and power lines are only part of the devastation. all the affects of mathew are unlike any hurricane in decades and some places could be uninhabitable for weeks other months. >> the best way to save director life in storm subject is do not be this. if you are worried about how long this will event will last and can you get back focus on
