he was arrested a mile and a half away here from the scene and the investigation is taking place. this happened after midnight on worcester avenue. three officers were on foot patrol near the entrance of the kelloggs plant and an officer was getting in the cruiser. a man crashed his vehicle into the cruiser, backed off and hit the cruiser again and the two other officers opened fire. our policy states that we can shoot if we believe an officer is in danger. of being killed or seriously injured. >> whether it was intentional or not, it is whether they were endangererring the officer. >> exactly. >> the suspect was arrested in his s.u.v. with bullet holes and a shattered window. it waisterred. the suspect has a misdemeanor warrant for resisting arrest. investigators will look at

video. it could be an interesting morning at the kellogg plant. we have seen several employees of the plant walk in and police officers are say they have to park behind the crime scene tape before they go in. normally they drive into the under of the street and park at their plant. they are being allowed in with no word on whether the students are allowed in to their school. >> a single car crash last a car p side down in south san jose and you can see it there. it took firefighters 30 minutes to pull a woman out from inside of the car. this is at the overpass on southbound 87 where it meets 85. you can see first responders stabilized the car so it would not keep rolling down the hill. we are toll the victim is stable but she was taken to the hospital. reggie: parts of the bay area are getting a soaking. others are dry.

the driver of the red car hit two police cars on 35th avenue. the officers are okay. the driver of the car is hospitalized but the passenger in the car died. we her the driver of the red car was coming down the street at a high rate of speed when it hit the officers. the police were spending to another incident when this happened at 11:00 this morning. election said, 35th was still closed and we expect it to be there a while because it was a deadly crash with a large investigation underway. that is the newest at the live desk. >> sonoma county officials hope the amber alert brings includes to the whereabouts after seven-month-old boy taken by his mother. henry massey was taking from guerneville and is where his mother, 35-year-old hannah ruth ashley, who does not have legal custody and believed traveling in a silver 2005 subaru 5jkz255

good morning, east bay let's get going. reggie: it is tuesday, october 25, i am reggie aqui. >> i am natasha zouves. we have jessica castro and mike nicco, and alexis smith. mike how is the weather? mike: i will show you where the better radar runs, san leandro, berkeley, 80, 580, 24 heading to walnut creek and 680 and out highway 4 and 80 up to fairfield. you can seat wave of showers rolling in from the southwest, so, the coast is going to be the wettest in the coastal hills and some of the valleys in the north bay, and san rafael with the light rainfall you have received 1.5" from the system. the day planner moves to the not by noon and it tapers by 4:00, and by 7:00, it is gone.

the rocket ship discovery prep school, 500 students attend the school. at the very end of the street is the kellogg plant, several hundred people are coming here this morning ask right now the officers are allowing the work error to walk in but in word governor they allow off students in. what created this big scene, this happened after midnight on worcester avenue near julian, and three officers were on foot patrol at an apartment complex near the entrance of kellogg plant and an officer got into the cruiser, driving in the area he crashed the vehicle into the cruiser, and police say the guy backed off, and hit the cruiser again. that is when the two officers opened fire. >> we don't know what the suspect's most vague was at this point the hopefully we will have more information later. >> the suspect was arrested at king, and the s.u.v. with bullet holes and shattered window was towed away. suspect has a misdemeanor warrant for resisting arrest and

man in glen park neighborhood. police backed 48 year old man to the jail yesterday. we were over the home where the 40 year old male november was fund. he rose, produced, and directed the acclaim 2003 documentary and a vocal protester of the officer involved shooting that killed oscar grant at an oakland bart station in 2009. in east palo alto a landlord and his son accused using extreme measures to force out tenants under rent control. we talked to the students with say the cars were keyed and windows broken by a bb gun. the district attorney said the owner of stanford garden is behind it and the moltive was to get the rent control tenants out to charge new tenants higher rent. the crime that was happening correlated to the apartments that were under rent control. the son faces most chan for trying to dissuade a witness
