candidate, but the only asian candidate did not make the short list. >> the criminal process in a beating death two years after it happened. two men appeared in court, accused in the death of a 67-year-old ty lamb, disabled and homeless. security cameras caught the unprovoked beating in november, 2014. the case went cold until investigators say dna led them to joseph stole in idaho and david peters of stockton. both are in jail on $5 million bail. former 49ers player bruce miller appeared in a court house today pleading no gt yielt to assault charges, facing seven felonies after an incident in september. prosecutors say he attacked a 70-year-old man and his son after going into the wrong hotel room. the 49ers released him the same day he was arrested. >> a snap chat video may hold clues as to who trashed a high school auditorium, destroying

shoppers won't just be competing with other shoppers for spots. people think about the holidays the moment the ice skating rink opens to the public. parking garages downtown and other parts of the city may get more congested. 450 spaces on the street have been assigned to car share services. get around is one of them. they allow people to rent out cars when not in use. they have 150 spaces throughout the city. here is the argument they make for using their service. >> by not having to have that vehicle and see it as a depreciating asset you're using cars when you need them. but not when you don't. >> the city launched this pilot program about two years ago. >> we have seen it can work. we've seen it work across the country. it's something we're interested in in providing more options for people trying to get around san francisco. >> not everyone is on board with
