. today, police released identity of a man they say killed a popular south bay economics instructor, shot just south of downtown. his widow spoke with abc7 news today. >> the suspect is being held without bail here at the county jail. family he members tell me they're trying to process everything that happened, but now, in light of new information they're left with more questions than answers. it was the senseless crime that took a beloved instructor away from his wife and two children. >> just like a needle stabbing my heart every time they're talking about the death. you know?

a real mystery on the campus of sonoma state university. and this afternoon, the discovery of a body of a man. >> it took 24 hours for sheriff investigators to transfer a male body found in the woods, that body is caked with mud. recovery began on what would have been the most beautiful fall morning. >> my thought is schools are supposed to be safe places right? >> a landscaper found the body around noon yesterday, some 200 feet from a busy parking lot.
