arthur scheduled to be executed by lethal injection thursday night. the court is reviewing the case, but the stay expires if the court declines to take up arthur's case. a casino on the strip shut down after a major power outage. thousands of people forced out of the paris las vegas casi investigators say a contractor accidently cut the hotel's main power line thursday morning and people were trapped in elevators, but no injuries reported so far. the fire department says the power is slowly being restored right now. the 3,000 room resort set to reopen this morning. the north dakota capital was shut down during protests over the pipeline. more than a dozen protesters arrested after they refused to leave the building. they held a prayer rally on the laup of the capitol and demanded a meeting with the state's governor. protesters say it threatens drinking water and sacred sites they've been protesting there for months. so they are the musical gifts that just keep on giving and giving and it's more like taking your soul away from you. >> your mind, anyway.

tonight in cleveland. >> oh, wow. trump meanwhile used his duelling late night rally to attack clinton over the fbi e e-mail investigation. >> addressing 10,000 supporters, joined on stage by veterans and took aim at clinton asking how they'd feel if she were commander in chief. >> we know hillary can't be trusted. we've learned that, with america's security. you take a look at her e-mail situation, and can we trust her with our security? she is disqualified for running for president the united states. disqualified. >> trump dug into new reports about the fbi probing the clip ton foundation, but sources say agents did not find anything incriminating. trump's wife made a rare appearance on the campaign trail in pennsylvania saying as first lady she'd advocate for women and fighting cyber bullying. mrs. trump talked about the negative impact of social media

and young people but made no mention of her husband's twitter attacks. stay with us for political night coverage. our political team will be here with complete analysis as results come in. >> a bond hearing will be held this morning for a scarce realize real estate agent after deputies found a woman chained inside a storage container on his rural property. this morning, investigators are resuming searching the property for bodies of other possible victims. here's more. >> reporter: just off the road in rural south carolina, a gruesome discovery, a missing woman found in a container where she was kept for two months chained up like a dog. now this man, todd christopher, a registered sex offender, is under arrest. >> figure out what we'll charge him with. i can tell you that one of the charges is going to be kidnapping. >> reporter: police say they heard the victim bang on the container in a wooded area surrounded by the fence. they were searching the area for them since they were missing in august. they found the car on the

property. brown says there could be multiple bodies there. >> we're trying to make sure that, you know, we don't have a serial killer on our hands. >> reporter: a realtor, and the victim's friend told a local paper brown helped cleaned houses before she rented or sold them. >> reporter: brown says she was fed in captivity, there was a facebook post saying that they were okay, but family members had always questioned if the account had been hacked. abc news, new york. >> and linsey is in south carolina this morning on "gma" with more on that story. power is slowly being restored right now after a day long outage at one of the biggest hotels in las vegas. the 33 story hotel evacuated thursday morning after its power line was cut. a contractor accidently cut the building's main power line and 3,000 people were forced out of the hotel casino.

the 2900 room resort is set to reopen this morning. the department of education has hit penn state with a record $2.4 million fine. that is the largest fine ever for violating a law that requires colleges to report crimes on campus. it results from the way the school handled complaints about former assistant football coach jerry sandusky. he was convicted in 2012 of sexually abusing ten boys many of them in penn state's locker rooms. it's been warmer in the u.s. this week, and even alaska had record high temperatures this fall. the northern most community in the country had its warmest october on record because there's no ice covering the arctic sea allowing heat and water to rise into the as mos fear. fairbanks celebrated halloween without snow for the first time

since late august has not been found. testimony in the murder trial of a former south carolina police officer michael slager has moved into the second day today. he's charged with killing an unarmed black man in a traffic stop last year. cell phone video captures him shooting walter scott in the back as scott ran away. prosecutos say scott let his sense of authority get the best of him. new details about the deadly bus crash in baltimore this week. state regulators say the driver of the school bus should not have been behind the wheel. his commercial driver's license suspended two months earlier. glenn chapel convicted of a violent crime which would prohibit him from driving a school bus. six people died including chapel. harvard has cancelled its men's soccer season after discovering players made sexual scouting reports about the women's team. the ivy league university first learned of the so-called rating

a real estate broker is under arrest after a missing woman was found imprisoned on his rural property. investigators say kala brown was inside a storage contained, quote -- chained up like a dog. she and her boyfriend were reported missing more than two months ago. there's not yet any sign of him, but investigators say they've been told there may be other bodies that are buried on that property. the man charged with the ambush style murders of two iowa police officers is behind bars this morning. police say scott green was placed into the handcuffs that belonged to one of the murdered officers, sergeant anthony bememio, and officer justin martin shot within miles apart. bomb sniffing dogs found the gun used in the murders. the supreme court has delayed the execution of an alabama inmate. the decision was handed down about an hour before tommy arthur's death warrant expired. arthur scheduled to be executed by lethal injection thursday night. the court is reviewing the case, but the stay expires if the court declines to take up arthur's case. a casino on the strip shut

down after a major power outage. thousands of people forced out of the paris las vegas casino. investigators say a contractor accidently cut the hotel's main power line thursday morning and people were trapped in elevators, but no injuries reported so far. the fire department says the power is slowly being restored right now. the 3,000 room resort set to reopen this morning. the north dakota capital was shut down during protests over the pipeline. more than a dozen protesters arrested after they refused to leave the building. they held a prayer rally on the laup of the capitol and demanded a meeting with the state's governor. protesters say it threatens drinking water and sacred sites they've been protesting there for months. so they are the musical gifts that just keep on giving and giving and it's more like taking your soul away from you. >> your mind, anyway. we're talking about ear worms, those melodies that never leave us.
