optional guide. it is not mandated. this came from the teacher's union. united educators of san francisco. >> at the lesson plan was written by a teen are at mission high school and given to all high school principals. author writes that teachers have a role to play for students to make sense of the new reality donald trump. let us less not sidestep the fact that a racist and sexist man has become president of our country by pandering to a huge racist base. we asked parents as mission high school about the plan. >> it should be okay. all the lesson calls for an on mike during the discussion, the teacher is told to offer help and empowerment, tell them we do not have to go anywhere, not to canada or back to any place we came from and do not tell them we lost and have to accept this. some appreciate the message. others are ready to move on.

report i learned in the past hour or so, this teacher from oak grove high school in south san jose is expected to meet with district officials for the first time this afternoon. here is the controversy. >> apparently the national anthem was being played at a rally. students, arrest or student does not stand and was asked to stand and declined to stand. the student and the teacher allegedly made an inappropriate remark about the student being deported under president-elect trump. >> that was the trustee, and the teacher was put on paid leave. the process toughened out in allegations are true and if so the punishment, that will take place now ongoing. if they find she did something wrong the discipline could be a letter of reprimand or suspension. the superintendent funk posted a

letter and the website of the east side teachers association calling the election the most divisive in his lifetime. the superintendent funk let everyone know that 90% of the funds coming from the state and the president has in authority over their schools and how they run them. i left a message with the teacher who has yet to get back with me. thank you. president-elect donald trump could be considering a former bitterry value for a top post in the cabinet. according to a transition official he is thinking of nominating texas senator ted cruz to serve as attorney general. we spotted cruz learning a meeting at trump tower with in word on what they may have talked about. cruz refused to endorse donald trump at the convention. donald trump nicknamed cruz lyin' ted but he endorsed him ultimately for president back in september. >> new york city mayor spent the morning meeting with

>> we have new details in the deadly shooting at will rogers world airport in oklahoma city. police say a retaliation is the alongly motive for the murder-suicide. investigators say shooter lloyd buie resigned from southwest airlines and believe he killed michael winchester in retaliation for circumstances that led him to leave the job. the circumstances were not being released.
