squaw valley posted a professionial skier's runs this weekend. look at all of the snow. squaw received 97 inches over the past week. good morning to you, and temperatures just in the teens this morning. sierra nevada, live doppler 7 picking up moisture offshore, and that won't affect us but the fog is affecting much of the bay area. a half mile in conquered, and all around the water, around richmond, very dense fog. a mile and three quarters in napa, and look at petaluma. this will change and move around quickly, and it could get worse through sunrise. it will be with us through the middle of the morning, and by 9:00, 10:00, we will see patches of fog right over the bay, and noontime, though, we will look for sunny conditions. it's going to take some time.

we are looking from the east bay hills camera, and you can see from this vantage point, still good visibility. oakland, 41. it's 39 in mountain view, and 36 in gilroy, and 41 on the coast, and temperatures a degree or two warmer this morning, and the explo explo exploream camera, almost can't make it out. 35, santa rosa. napa, 40, as well as fairfield. sfo, you can count on the delays here stacking up. a little too early right now, but this morning it's chilly with the areas of dense fog, and looking for sunny skies this afternoon, and the storms do return midweek, and they are going to last, it looks like, into next weekend. hopefully you are using this time to clean up. we can see renewed threats of flooding even though the systems are quick movers, we are so so saturated. beach hazard statement through

francisco woman believes she died of meningitis which could be the second deadly case this past week involving a city resident. abc 7 news reporter, leslie brinkley, spoke to the family about a warning they say they got from the corner's office. >> a bus driver found her deceased in the bus sitting up right. >> that's what the family says they were told. they called in the daley city police. >> she was in san francisco on the bus. the last two days she was alive, so we don't know who she was in contact with. >> the san mateo corner's office told him on wednesday that preliminary autopsy results indicate his sister died of meningitis, and he and his son were given antibiotics. >> she had a severe headache and

now your forecast with lisa argen. >> here's live doppler 7, and we are not tracking any precipitation, but boy is it foggy, the visibility reduced to near zero in parts of the east bay valleys, and oakland, quarter of a mile, and in conquercord. it will get worse before sunrise, and it will be with us at least until 11:00, and it's going to sit right over the water, so by the afternoon, we are counting on sunny skies but it's going to be awfully tricky between now and then if you are navigating some of the local bridges. the golden gate bridge you can see that nobody is there, and 47 in san francisco, and 40 in oakland and 39 in mountain view, and 42 in san jose and 36 in gilroy and low 40s on the coast. from emeriville right now, nice

and dark right now, and 7:24 is the official sunrise. plenty of 30s from the delta, and also into the east bay valleys. livermore, 34, and looking down around gilroy, campbell, it's awfully chilly out there. and from the roof camera, it's gray. winds are light and we have the moisture on the ground from the recent rain. the patchy fog and some of the frost with us in some of those low-lying valleys, so be careful, could see black ice and sunny skies this afternoon. we are looking at a series of wet weather systems and we will call them storms from wednesday right through next weekend it looks at this point. hopefully using the dry days to clean out the storm drains and prepare for another round of wet weather. this evening, we have rip currents possible and sneak waves, so as we get into wednesday, that is 2 on the storm impact scale, and we will see gusty winds and brief heavy

rain, and the sub tropical moisture headed at the bay area, and then it's going to sag south, so we will get a little break into thursday, but as we time out wednesday for you, you are leaving for work and it should be dry, but by mid morning, the light rain moves in and by 9:00 wednesday night, it's heavier. there's a brief break on thursday, and we will still have light rain around, though, and on friday, another round of heavier rain, and it looks like the second half of the weekend could be the strongest out of the three. so we are looking pretty wet once again, and with the gusty winds out of the south come wednesday, we're once again worried about the possibility of some of the trees and power lines coming down. rainfall amounts, this is through the first part of the weekend, an additional one to two inches, and highs today under sunny skies should be pleasant in the mid-50s, and 56 in vallejo, and if you are head up to the sierra nevada, it's crowded but pretty with temperatures in the 30s, and getting warmer each and every day. for the holiday tomorrow, about 40.
