two people inside of a pickup got stuck in the flooded creek near the grapevine yesterday. rescuers could not use a helicopter because the weather was too bad. they used the orange raft you see there. the man and woman up side the wickup cli pickup climbed out of the passenger side of the window. got out of the wipickup and int the raft. no one was hurt. a massive oak tree is blamed for killing a woman when it crashed into an apartment building. it crushed the woman while she slept in her bed. winds were at 50 miles per hour. r heavy rain made the roots unstable. crews used a chain saw and crane to get it off the victim. at least 28 tornadoes have been reported since saturday. storms are responsible for at least 19 deaths.
