have killed her. in this video we see her on a treadmill, but it's been a journey in the making because at the very beginning of this video, we start off in a hospital bed. she was on a bicycle cycling through one of bolivia's very dangerous roads known as death road. she hits a rock, loses control and goes over the ledge. below her, more than 300 feet of canyon into a freefall. it's an amazing turn of events. at roughly 30 feet she was able to catch a ledge. that broke her fall. but it also broke her back. the doctors didn't know whether she would be able to walk or be paralyzed. they took her into surgery before paralysis completely set in. in fact, she shows us some of the hardware that is in her back now. in this video, we see her road
