>> ooh. >> there's a second video of the action here from somebody else who's standing nearby and saw the helicopter go down. in their -- this is another vie inside the chopper. four people, like i said, a pilot and three passengers inside the helicopter escaped without injury. all i've been able to read is that the pilot experienced a heavy tailwind and wasn't able to pull up and gain enough altitude. it appears everybody's okay. some of the best drivers in the racing business. the co-driver, a guy sitting in the passenger seat reading the pace notes. and you hear the coat driver, paul nagle, dictating directions. >> okay -- [ beep ] oh! >> he knew it was happening -- >> it was also more ice on the course than the driver were

expecting. the team was able to put the car together and entered back into the race the next day. however -- someone crashed into them. the interesting part about the world rally championship is these cars need to be street legal because the car has to go from section to section on street roads. when chris meek was driving his rally car on a street section, somebody just ran into him. >> no. >> the damage so bad they weren't able to continue the rally. a very touching story out of spain. there you see a spanish greyhound limping because it has a broken leg. the woman following it is a vet. the dog was found wandering around a market. it was taken to the vet. she realogized you know what, this dog is producing milk. and i think she's probably given birth in the last week. she leads them on a 1.8-mile journey and leads them to this

car. they look inside the front seat, they don't see anything. but then when they checked the back -- >> oh, no. >> there's a bunch of puppies back there. >> a bunch -- >> oh, my gosh! and they're all still there. >> yeah, they're all crawling over each other, just as cute as can be. eyes not open yet. it looks like she's almost relieved. she sits and kind of lays her head up against the headrest like, i found them. they're still here. >> kind of neat, you know, mom taking the humans back. i got to think maybe mom -- they've given me so much help, maybe they'll take my babies, too. >> right. credit to the humans, as well, for understanding the dog. most people would be like, stop it. >> they believe that the dog was dumped by hunters, but i love how the vet went out on foot, walked nearly two miles to help find these babies. >> yeah, get this dog food so it can produce milk and feed all those babies. a lot of mouths she's got to feed now. >> wow.

oh! at first glance when you first see the video, you're thinking you're standing, right at the door to hell. and you would be correct because that's exactly what this gas crater in turkmenistan is called. >> it does look like a ring of hell. >> looks like a bomb went off. >> right? >> help me because i don't know -- what's a gas crater? >> a gas crater even though it looks like this is the mouth of a volcano, has nothing to do with volcanos. has nothing to do with magma. this is actually created by natural gas. apparently back in the soviet era, this is the theory because nobody really knows for sure how this happened. they believe that there was a drilling accident that exposed gas into the atmosphere. the contractors at the time thought it would be a good idea to light it on fire. >> yes. why not? >> and they thought maybe in two weeks the supply will have burnt

out, and we cannot move on. it turns out this has been burning for 50 years. who knows when this is going to run out? >> like the spring feel -- >> yeah. >> elliott davies is sitting there just hanging out at this crater. but they decided at 4:00 in the morning to record the video which actually looks incredibly spectacular. the video is short, but it is part of an incredible journey that elliott has been on. at 23, he decided to leave his home in tasmania andous aurks deci-- and australia and decided to visit every country on the planet. >> wow. >> he's done 40 so far. we can skype from tasmania. elliott, welcome to the show, elliott! >> thank you, guys.
