continuing to produce periods of heavy rainfall, strong gusty winds, downed trees and power outages have been seen already. there may be more. let's look at current wind conditions. you can see near the coast, sfo, half moon bay, novato, the winds have calmed down a little bit. still quite gusty. farther inland, 39-mile-per-hour gusts. fairfield, the gusty conditions are likely to stay with us into the evening hours. wind advisory is in effect until 6:00 p.m. gusts up to or beyond 45 miles per hour, and more downed trees and power outages are possible under these conditions. here's the forecast starting at 4:00 this afternoon. as we get into the evening rush, we'll see more widely scattered showers. but the pavement will still be wet. so exercise caution if you're driving this afternoon and evening. later in the evening we'll see other waves of showers and light rain moving onshore. later tonight, around midnight or so, we'll see the beginning of our next storm moving in from the northwest. i'll give you a closer look at
