a two. moderate storm. downpours, quarter to inch of rainfall and kinds gusty. but then continues to strengthen more on monday. serious storm. three, strong, moderate to heavy rain and winds continuing. high concerns for flooding in urban creeks and streams, trees down also high and mud and rockslides a big possibility. flood watch is up, wind advisory is posted. we'll give you details coming up. biggest reservoir in santa clara county is 100% full and spilling over for first time in more than a decade. plenty of potential hazards to consider. lisa joins us live from a water outlet at the base of the dam.

failure in case of a certain.2 magnitude earthquake. >> with all the storms, it's not possible to keep it that low. >> reporter: chances of earthquake that size striking right now is slim, for those nearby, it's a worry. >> a little bit of a concern. would be crazy not to be concerned but what do you do? >> concern is the earthquake issue with the dam. hope to get it fixed quick. >> reporter: but construction won't begin until 2020. and this outlet will remain open like this for at least another month. live, abc7 news. residents across southern california in cleanup mode as big storm yesterday causing widespread damage and at least four deaths.

sinkhole swallowed two cars, briefly trapping one of the drivers. will take several days to repair. possible sewer failure likely caused it to fall. and dragged away a totaled fire engine that fell over a section of interstate 15 along the cajon pass. will cost $3 million to repair the roadway. several tons of mud covered a parking lot. closed natural area in newhall because of extensive damage. hit hard by the downed trees and flooding. keeping close eye on dam and spillway. far outpacing the amount coming in going out.

levels on the lake are continuing to drop. trees coming down and causing problems in the north bake. oak tree caused a water main break that flooded cemetery on east mcarthur and sonoma. all the water rushed between homes and in the yards just behind the cemetery. homeowners say got close to getting inside but sand bags helped protect them. sierra ski resorts are popular destinations but getting there and back are hard with changes on monday, heavy rain and snow. snow levels to about 5,000 foot elevation early next week. drew will have the track of the storms in a minute but if you want to track them, john lood the abc7 app and enable

push alerts. warnings were there but police didn't act. what neighbors are saying about the man yesterday who terrorized a neighborhood before he was shot and killed by officers. why neighbors say it could have been prevented. >> reporter: still bullet holes. many residents say they were home when neighbor started a shooting spree on their street. eventually shot by police and died hours later. clifton and his son joe say the neighborhood walking on eggshells since friday when they believe he shot up friend's car. all four tire was popped and seen bullet shells on the car door. >> reporter: police collected shavings but he wasn't arrested and didn't take his gun. three days later, another

incident. >> woke me up saying he shot a manned vehicle up the street. >> reporter: man sleeping in car when windows shot out. published details from the police report. told officers he called him the n word and threatened him saying i shot your window, got my gun right here. again no arrest. residents wonder why. >> say don't have enough evidence to make arrest but three cars shot up, gun casings all over. people pointing to the house over there. >> reporter: department spokesperson has not replied to your questions about neighbor's concerns. abc7 news. a fiery car crash blocked three lanes in pleasanton tonight. driver was ejected before the car caught fire. injuries not life threatening.
