relatively dry and quiet. >> what a day it has been. mother nature throwing it all at us. we still have showers to contend with out there right now. live doppler 7 tracking it all. get you down to street level. we are watching this cell in the north bay. crossing into noah valley, into tiberon. mixed precipitation. we tracked this cell hitting richmond before 11:30. and arinne de just before the midnight hour. this is how it looked when a cell moved through pacifica just a couple of minutes ago. this coming from tim, yeah, dotting the car window and the hood. the storm impact scale going to be overnight, scattered showers. small hail and gusty winds could be expected. for the morning commute use caution. any of those scattered showers moving through tomorrow morning do have the potential to drop

moo, it makes me sad to think that now. >> reporter: now the marine corps says it is investigating allegations of derogatory on line comments and sharing of explicit photos on marines united a private facebook group and closed website saying marines will not tolerate on line or off line harassment. the focus should not be on me or the threats to my family, but i'm making sure the stories of the victims of these behaviors come to light says the person who broke the story. >> these images are reflective of a culture in the marine corps. >> reporter: our congress woman said this is not a case of a few bad apples but a clear case of a culture where the rot has continued to spread and live. if there was a leadership component here the president should fire those responsible. >> i would like to see leadership address it head on, hold everybody accountable who has had a part in this.

>> melanie woodrow, abc7 news. dozens of people are displaced in the north bay after a massive fire ripped through the moelg they were living in. firefighters helped 40 people escape from the travel inn on lincoln road east in vallejo. everyone got out safely including one man in a wheelchair. some tenants claim their units had no working molk detectors. >> we never was woke up by a detector. we don't have extinguishers. >> i started bang on everybody's doors because i don't know if they had gotten out or not. >> the motel honeyer says the building is fire compliant. the cause of the place is unknown. officials believe it started on the first floor and quickly spread upstairs. new details on a police shooting that took place in hayward overnight on mandarin officer. police say more than one officer fired at the suspect after he pointed a gun at one them. they shot him several times and he is now in critical condition. three officers are on paid

leave. police confronted the man after they say he shot a 17-year-old girl and another man. both survived. investigators are looking for more witnesses. fbi agents arrested the former mayor of stockton at sfo today. anthony silva was returning from a vacation in colombia. he is accused of imbezel men, misappropriation of public funds, and grand theft. agents have a search warrant for his home and a stockton chump club he used to oversee as ceo. he was previously accused of giving alcohol at a summer camp to underprivileged kids. officers chased a suspected dirt bike thief over the bay bridge. you can see the biker weaving through traffic. a short time later he crashed at fremont and howard. officers arrested him there. they did not say if he was hurt in the crash. much more to come on abc7 news at 11:00.

president trump is back in the white house tonight after a weekend in florida that likely wasn't very relaxing. the president returns to a washington that's stirred up over his twitter comments on saturday. mr. trump started a storm when he accused former president obama of wiretapping him during

headlines. get ready for more hail overnight and into the morning. this video was taken within the last hour in san bruno. you see a fresh kiet coating of pea sized hail covering car windshields and the grass. there could also be more snow in the morning on top of mount diablo. it is a rare event here in the bay area so people flocked to the state park today to make snow angels and go sledding. drew teama will be up shortly with the time line on the next rounds of storms. the marine corps is addressing vulgar photos and comments on marines united. the investigation started after a marine corps veteran who runs an independent news site brought the allegations to light. if marines are found to have taken the photos without those who posed concept they could case criminal charges. >> president trump accused former president obama of wiretapping him duke the presidential came. aides to the former president

are denying the claim. and it appears the fbi director is backing him up. here's brian ross. >> reporter: the actual source of the president's stunning claim the fbi bugged trump tower remains a mystery tonight. but late today word that the fbi director james comey has weighed in. a senior justice diplomat official told abc news comey has asked the justice department to publicly reject the president's statements as false. the only white house official to speak publicly today, sarah huckabee sanders, appeared on the abc news program "this week" and tried to change the subject and called for an investigation when martha rad it is pressed her for an answer about the source. >> let's look into this. if this happened f this is accurate. >> you are not saying let's look into this -- the president of the united states is accusing the former president of wiretapping him. >> i think that this is again something that if this happened, ma that -- >> if, if, if, if.
