a medical helicopter so it could get a critically injured man into the hospital. >> leann melendez joins us live on the scene. this investigation is creating a traffic nightmare. >> it still is, we don't know how much longer this is going to last. now, i am on the freeway where this happened and you can see behind me the two cars now chp says without a doubt this was a targeted shooting. we have two people injured as you said. three suspects have been detained. and this is what we know. i-80 near san pablo was closed shortly after 3:30 this afternoon. following a shooting. a man was shot several times many he had to be transported to john muir medical center in a chopper, which had to land on this freeway. the man we are told is in critical condition.

the woman was shot in the hand, she suffered minor injuries and was taken to alta bates. there are two cars, a red suv and a silver minivan on the freeway. at one point we didn't know if the victims were in one car or separate cars. now we're being told that both victims were in the same car, and apparently the person in the red car stopped to help them. from sky 7 you can see that the windows were blown out. now, within a very short period of time, police were at a home in the iron triangle area of richmond on 17th street. police made arrests and a dodge charger was towed from that locati location. >> we did have multiple witnesses that called this in, this was how we had the

the threat forced a full evacuation of the jcc in los gatt oes this afternoon. the jewish federation says someone e-mailed the threat this afternoon. police swept the building with bomb sniffing dogs from the santa clara county sheriff's department. nothing suspicious was found. >> a lot of people are talking about all the stuff that's going on with the jcc's, i live right next door to it, so it was very concerning at the time. but it wasn't in our area. but now this is my area. so now i'm like. >> this is one of more than 100 bomb threats across the country that are now being investigated by the fbi. >> watch this now, caught on camera, a brutal attack in the middle of rush hour on highway 101 in san francisco.

the man behind the video sharing it to make sure these attackers are caught. melanie woodrow is live with the details tonight. this season the the first time these dirt bikers have been spott spotted. >> no, in fact the person who took this video says he's seen these bikers at least three times in san francisco. the bikes have no license plates on them. that's why this video really could help. it may be disturbing to watch. >> the cell phone video starts with a slide show on southbound 101, and escalates with one bike colliding with this white car. the other bikers speed up. and at the ceasar chavez exit a red car presumably with the bikers appears to box in the driver of the white car. the person who took this video asked to remain anonymous. >> they approached the vehicle and they started punching in the

going to happen. >> instead, call 911, in san francisco, melanie woodrow abc 7 news. >> the pilot of a small plane bound for san jose had engine trouble before taking off. the crash killed three people on impact. stacy pierce of san jose was one of two survivors. she died yesterday from her injuries. the ntsb's initial report released today, states the pilot made several attempts to start the plane's left engine before it got running. their investigation continues. alden smith was held for hours today by police after a car crash sent two san francisco police officers to the hospital. smith wasn't the driver. kate larson explains why he was still detained. >> at 8:30 this morning, sfpd says police officers were pulling into the parking lot, another car tried to pass them and slammed into the front of their unmarked police car.

>> two of the three officers that were in the vehicle were transported to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. >> there were three peple in the suspect car. the driver was arrested. one male passenger was released and the second passenger reportedly alden smith was detained for being drunk in public. >> the raiders linebacker has been under suspension for violating its substance abuse rules. smith was held for more than four hours while he sobered up. >> at the time police made contact with the detained person, he skexited the vehicle and it was determined he had symptoms of public intoxication and could not care for himself this morning. the cause of the collision is still under investigation. however, smith has had five run-ins with the law since 2012 which led him to be cut by the 49ers in 2013 and signed by the raiders. it's unclear if this morning's

actually earlier -- sky 7 now you see is live over 80 in richmond. the eastbound lanes of the freeway are shut down because of a shooting on 80. it's not clear when that section of 80 will reopen. a man has critical injuries. a woman who was in the car has injuries described as moderate. the chp tells us this was a targeted shooting. an abc 7 news viewer shared this video with us, showing an air ambulance there. a medical helicopter landing on 80 to take one of those shooting victims to the hospital around 4:00 this afternoon. sky 7 shows us richmond police officers at a home on 17th street just after 4:00, police tell us three possible shooting incidents. the chp was able to respond quickly because so many people called 911. >> we had the information that

outside. detectives came here to cupertino wednesday morning. when they searched it, they left with several computers and pictures of young girls. eventually one detective showed him a warrant after the search. his 35-year-old son raj is accused of stalking at least four underaged girls and detectives believe there could be a total of 19 total possible victims. >> whatever acquisition of in a search warrant was, they were false. i know my son. >> neighbors are still shocked. >> i've seen so many kids walking this way. i have a 13-year-old daughter who goes to hide. i don't think she ever encountered anything. >> a 14-year-old claims she was repeatedly approached by sani who gave her gifts. >> i'm so glad there was somebody who was able to speak up and stop this.

a toasty fireplace without harming the air. >> why would the gas fireplace work one morning and then stop working that night. could it have anything to do with pg&e's new gas logs? >> we converted our wood burning fireplace to gas. and we enjoyed the ambience. however, one day, last december the roaring flame suddendy died. >> we had about half the flame we had before, within 20 there was no flame at all. the line going to my house, comes across here. >> pg&e had just installed new lines for his townhome complex.
