have you noticed it increases? >> it takes a certain amount -- other coworkers were like, i'm going to start rapping in the classroom. i was like, go for it. make sure you build repoire with the kids. because if you go in there and are like, yo, yo! they are going to laugh you off. >> what is the response from the parents on all of this? >> i find usually the parents are on my team because the kids are on my team, generally. >> have their test scores gone up? is there a noticeable uptick in those? >> i don't know if it's the way i'm delivering the material, but i consistently do pretty well on standardized tests. in might be because this is always a culminating activity. like i don't start with this. everything i have talked about in that song is something i have talked about in the class period. it is something they are familiar with. ♪ in australia this dude is riding his bike going 43 miles an hour and he's moving.
