overnight hours, into tomorrow morning. so we're still on storm watch for this light storm. >> mike, thank you. back to villejo now where a tree came crashing into this home. that house at red tide. we just spoke with the homeowner, amy. >> reporter: hi, look behind me, they have been at it for a few hours this crew. but that's a lot of tree to move out of here t. city thinks they'll be done around noon or maybe even 1:00. then an inspector can go inside and see how bad the damage is. maybe they could down grade this tag to a yellow tag t. family say it's in a long stressful morning. when the huge oak first took t t the house the family thought it was an earthquake. >> when the first blanche hit, -- branch hit, we saw, check the floors, make sure there is no glass on the floors.

>> reporter: they went outside only to find it was the tree they had always worried about a. few years ago, they had looked into having it removed. >> it was a bunch of red tape and a lot of hoops to jump through and money. so we just decided to leave it alone at the time and here we are 11 years later and it's finally fallen. >> reporter: it fell at 2:15 this morning. a tree company came out later in the morning to start removing it so they could see the damage. officials red tagged it for now t. family is hopeful the home is bruise but not broken. >> i was up at 2:13 this morning. i wanted to go to sleep. i know i can't. so i'm just here waiting. >> reporter: i just talked to a spokes woman for the city. she doesn't know what the permit process was for tree removal back when this family tried it. right now she says few want to get your tree trimmed, you need a permit and it's free. if the inspector decides the

learned from comey's testimony. abc news, walk. on to developing news now, city police need your help identifying this woman in the batman shirt. she is accused of assault outside of a wal-mart. this is what happened, police say she intentionally rammed her car into five people on sunday. two have minor injuries. the under surveillance camera captured part of it. can you see herac up, narrowly missing a three-year-old and her mother. >> oh, oh. >> oh my gosh. >> oh my goodness. >> oh my gosh. injuring people? >> she intentionally backed up twice to get out of that parking lot. so we're calling it an assault with a deadly weapon. >> several people had to jump out of the way t. parking slot covered by cameras. police do not have a clear shot of her license plate, police say the woman was upset after she was not able to return batteries to the store. they believe she is in her late teens or early 20s. new evidence in the shooting

get the medical treatment she needs. doctors say dominique had the second spine of extra legs because she was born with a paracytic conjoined twin that didn't develop. now after successful surgery, she will be able to live a normal life. the host family says she is staying in chicago and is sitting up more than before surgery. they are caring for baby dominique until she is fully recovered. she will return home to west africa to reunite with her parents and siblings. >> all right. now on to your morning money report, apple going red now with its new addition to the iphone family t. computer base tech giant unveiling a special red version of the iphone 7 and 7 plus, all for charity, of course, they commemorate the ten-year partnership between apple and project red. that's the organization that helps fight aids. they start at $749 bucks. they go on sale on friday. you might like what's been

when we look at the numbers for some of us, the rainfall amount itself were higher than on our storm impact scale. it didn't cause damage. that was the biggest concern for me. once you get into a two, you go at the time potential for damage. so we have a quarter of an inch at moffett field, nearly half an inch in redford city. this is the way it looked this morning, that's the clearing took place pretty quickly, sun came up, streets were still dry or still wet and the commute was that way all the way through 9:00. let's take a look to see what it's doing right now. it's wet down here at 280 and san jose. you see the showers up towards mount hamilton, we'll still have a few showers today into tomorrow. we got one more storm coming. breezy, lightning, hail, it's all possible, especially during the overnight hours while we are sleeping and only thursday do i have totally dry accuweather
