he was detained by the chp, two people suffered minor juries. san jose police were investigating a suspicious death. they responded to bard street after 10:00 a.m., on reports of a visibly injured man not breathing. he died at the scene. his identity and details of his injury are not released. they are looking in to motive and circumstances surrounding his death. thousands of mourners saluted during today's funeral for fallen emergency medical technician in new york city. he was murdered in the line of duty while responding to a call in the bronx on march 16th. the san francisco fire department shared this picture, showing three of the paramedics at the funeral, they joined other first responders from across the u.s. to remember the mother of five. people are back on the las vegas strip after it was shut down for several hours during a

standoff between police and a gunman. it happened after the gunman opened fire on a double dekker bus stopped. one person died and another hurt. the suspect surrendered after several hours the investigators are looking for a possible moti motive. >> it was a fine day in the bay area. a live look outside at sfo, you see the planes are taking off and the skies are looking good. that will change, abc 7 is here to show us what is on the way, drew. >> yeah, we are sandwiched in between two storms right now. we had the rain maker yesterday and today, we were dry and another storm is going to arrive on our sunday. live doppler 7, we are clear, we are good to go tonight. we are dry. here's our next storm system. that shield of cloud cover off shore that is pushing to the east. that will be our rain maker on sunday. just beginning to see some light returns off shore. it's not going to effect most of us until sunday afternoon. the storm impact scale is one.

the self driving vehicle was obeying the law, it was the driver of the other car that did not yield and turned left in to the suv's path, causing it to roll over. two operators were inside the suv, nobody was seriously hurt. officers cited the other driver for a moving violation. b.a.r.t. pat eninjures took the -- passengers took their first ride on the new station. we were at the warm springs south fremont station, that represents the first step for b.a.r.t. to reach silicone valle. >> we are building a ten mile extension. that is expected to open late their year. >> the station has an artist i can -- artistic touch. there's more ahead on abc 7 news

>> running out of options and time. the city of oakland is pleading with the owner mark davis to come back to the negotiating table to keep the raiders in oakland. a final decision on relocation to las vegas could come within 48 hours and it's not looking good for oakland. >> our media partners at the east bay times are reporting that nfl commissioner, rodger goodell sent a letter saying that the plan for the raiders new staydium is not clear and specific and actionable in a reasonable timeframe and free of major contingencys. >> we have gotten as clear as we can get without the raiders at the table. we need the raiders at the table. >> raiders fans joined the mayor to push for the latest plan to keep the team from bolting to las vegas. former nfl star, ronny lott presented the proposal to the nfl commissioner.

>> i do not have room in my mind or heart for any other result right now. >> the latest plan will use 55 acres for a new stadium on the current coliseum lot with a price tag of $1.3 billion. many say their voices are not being heard. >> we stuck with the team in losing seasons and came here anyway and so, we really want to make sure that we are rewarded for that. >> mark davis favors a plan to move the team to vegas where they would play in a 1$1.9 dome billion dollar stadium. >> he turned his back on us. nfl owners are expected to vote on a possible raiders move as early as monday. right now, it appears that mark davis has the 24 votes necessary to move the team. >> if the vote goes well, we will be having a rally and a celebration. but in the vote doesn't go well, we are going to be putting our minds together to figure out what the next step in fighting

it is a quiet scan out there, we are 12 hours away from many of us even seeing our first drops from this storm system. we only have six days left in the month of march. you take a look at where we stand for rainfall this month, many spots still below normal. had many stretches of dry weather this month. the only spot this month, the city of san francisco, above normal for the month of march. sfo getting close and we will add a bit of rainfall to the numbers over the next 24 hours. out there right now. 40s and 50s the name of the game. 55 in oakland and 52 in san francisco. right now, 53 in san jose and a couple of 49s from san jose. and overnight, most spots will drop in to the 40s. it's a blend of clouds and thickening.

it will be cooler tomorrow than today. hour by hour. you notice, it's a lot of clouder cover. we are dry. as we head in to the early afternoon, the rain just beginning to approach, most spots at the blend of sunshine and cloud cover, even by 4:00. the system is hung up in the north bay and really just seeing santa rosa, and clear lake, seeing the showers. not close until dinner time tomorrow evening. 7:00 in the etch ivening. that's when you get a chance to see the showers outside of north bay. just as it comes in. it will quickly move out. by 9:00, here's the tail end of the storm system. out of the north bay and sweeps out by midnight. early monday morning. a quick moving system z not have a lot of moisture with it.

well, it the kind of police chase you may expect to find in texas. fortunately for us it was caught on video. watch as this officer uses his patrol car to round up this run away cow and successfully get him in a fenced off area. clearly though, this cow was not cooperating. once the officer close today gate, he was like, i'm out of here. taking off gun. the officer managed to get out of of the way, the cow is still on the run. oregon, also headed back to the final four for the first time in 78 years when they won. the first ncaa tournament back in 1939, details and

we are tracking for the sunday, really light showers. a one on the storm impact scale. most cities less than a quarter of an inch. it's an indication of a pattern change. it will be breezy and cool in the afternoon. a lot of cloud cover. the rain holds off for many until the afternoon. by 4:00. it's really the north bay that has the light showers. and as we go towards the evening hours, 7:00, that's when we say, yeah, everyone has a fair chance for a sprinkle. the system is approaching san jose, livermore and antioch and it will move back out. there's the back end of the showers moving through the north bay, and it wraps up as we approach midnight. we will show you a couple of drops for your sunday out there. monday is a transitional day. and a brief cool down wednesday before warming up friday and in the saturday. >> all right, drew, thank you. >> tell you who is not experiencing a cool down, that
