live, where you live, this is abc 7 news. this may be the last time you see raiders chief mark davis before the nfl owners vote on whether or not he can move the silver and black o las vegas, and tonight he shares thoughts exclusively with abc news, good evening, i'm eric thomas, we caught up with him before he left for phoenix before the voters have votes on the proposed move tomorrow. abc's laura anthony has more on the approval. >> reporter: good evening, eric, we talked with mark davis at the airport in oakland just moments before he was going to board a plane to come here to phoenix for a trip that could change the lives of his team and raiders fans for decades to come. >> one, two, three. >> reporter: raiders owner mark

davis stood for pictures and greeted fans as he prepared to board a commercial flight to the nfl owner's meeting in phoenix, davis would not comment especially on the competing stadium proposals but did say it would be bittersweet, quote, hard for me to move the team out of the bay area, davis says he believes his team and coaches deserve to play in the first class stadium that las vegas is proposing, come monday, there will be up to 32 nfl owners all gathering in phoenix for their meeting. >> we need the raiders at the table. >> reporter: and despite last minute pleas from the mayor? and oakland raiders fans who marched around the coliseum site saturday. >> i spoke exclusively with roger goodell. >> reporter: espn told us it is looking like the vote will go las vegas' way. >> we're hearing there will be a

vote on monday afternoon and at least they will have 32 of the owners necessary to allow the raiders to move. and listen, bottom line this is a money grab for the national football league. >> but when you get in the room and people look at the details. >> reporter: oakland's sonny abraham said the plans could derail it. >> if the deal is approved, i'll chuckle, because it's a bad deal. i hope the nfl owners have common sense regarding the fact that the deal cannot be pencilled out. >> reporter: now most of the owners going in for a reception here in phoenix would not answer the reporters' questions about the potential move to las vegas except for one, which was robert kraft, the owner of the new england patriots. he asked a question about what he thought about the move with, i think it's great, perhaps a

fearful sign for raiders fans in the bay area. laura, before you get away a lot of fans in the bay area will be bitterly disappointed if the team leaves, did davis have a message for them? >> reporter: i asked him that, eric, asking if he had a message for fans for oakland. he said at this point, not to blame the team or the players or the coaches. he patted his chest, with a white and black raiders t-shirt, saying blame me, he also said he did expect that some of the fans may travel to las vegas along with some from los angeles to see the raiders if they should move there. of course we will find out here tomorrow. eric? >> all right, laura, thank you very much reporting live from phoenix. tonight, several raiders fan groups penned an open letter to owners urging them to vote no to

tracking the action all evening long, we'll take you into the south bay, the last location to see the drops, with a cell moving through san jose now pushing east through evergreen into mount hamilton, so still unsettled. keeping it open for a chance of showers with fog greeting us first thing tomorrow morning. in the wake of the storm system we'll have major temperature swings the next couple of days, detailing the numbers and the accurate forecast in a few minutes. all right, thank you very much, locks, bottles, smoke bombs, san jose responded in riot gear after a fight broke out between fans rooting for the same team, melanie woodrow has the story from san jose. >> reporter: cell phone video shows fans throwing rocks and bottles outside the stadium. striking the bus, many of them traveling on it from san jose to los angeles to watch a soccer

match between two teams from mexico. >> that's good for the bus. it was hit by rocks, not rocks, actually boulders. >> reporter: the bus driver, edgar torres, showed us the damage, the brawl now between fans of opposing teams, and from the same team. >> it seemed weird to see fans from the same team fighting. the reason that -- we just have no clue. >> what it is, is competition, we're better fighters than you are, silly, ridiculous, but that is what they think. >> reporter: the parking man the fight go down. >> the fight started here and got bad. >> reporter: and when the san jose police officers arrived, they say the people were fighting in different directions, at the news department they tweeted video of the fans moving towards the stadium with yellow smoke bombs.

after being held outside they later went into the stadium. the parking attendant said she was ready for them to come out after the game. >> they're a little bit different on the bus because they know i'll leave them. >> a police presence, and a win for the team. >> reporter: both groups came out celebrating, this time separately. despite the fighting the police say no major injuries were reported and no arrests were made. police are detaining a driver tonight following a three-vehicle crash that left one person critically injured. abc 7 news was at the scene at san pablo lane, and the vans collided with each other just after 5:00 this evening. a victim was thrown out of the car. >> one was thrown out of the car, they don't know if it was the sun roof.

police have detained a driver to find out if the person had been drinking or using drugs before the crash. there is a lot of damage along the bay area following all the rain in the bay area this winter. one area looking for a fix is marin county. >> this area here is cracking and ready to push and go down towards the road also. >> reporter: he is a marin county park ranger and these days he spends a lot of time patrolling the trails and roads in open space preserves damaged by this year's rainfall. >> we have had probably about 50 slides or so throughout the different preserves. >> reporter: these two slides along glenn fire road in mill valley stop the trucks from using the access road creating a dangerous situation since fuel has been growing unchecked in the open space preserve since the area has not been burned in more than 100 years. >> the fire started behind one of the homes and spread up the

canyon, which fire naturally breaks up through the canyon. it could be a disaster if the fire department can't get up to a lot of points of access. >> reporter: and many areas like these will shore up their water logged hillsides and roads. the department extents they will spend well over $200,000 this year making the repairs which is eight times the annual budget of $25,000. and even though it seems grim? >> it could have been a lot worse. >> reporter: warner says thanks to the voters who passed measure a in 2012, the department had money regarding the rolling dips and trails, which includes drainage and dips. >> this road was a lot worse than reported currently. >> next on abc 7 news at 11:00, taking on the president. >> we're not going to sit around and just play patsy, and say go ahead, lock us in, do whatever

a driver steps on the gas instead of the gate and crashes through the front office of this animal hospital in north carolina. the car slammed into the office manager and two dogs pinning all of them under the rubble. fortunately the quick thinking staff got all of them out and no one was seriously hurt, and removed the driver as well as the pups.

pg&e learned a tragic lesson we can never forget. this gas pipeline ruptured in san bruno. the explosion and fire killed eight people. pg&e was convicted of six felony charges including five violations of the u.s. pipeline safety act and

live, where you live. this is abc 7 news. good evening, i'm eric thomas, in tonight's headlines, abc 7 news was at oakland international airport and spoke to the owner mark davis before he boarded a flight to phoenix, where two nfl owners will meet tomorrow afternoon. it appears to be likely they will allow davis to move his team to davies, he did not comment especially on the proposals but did say he believes his team and coaches deserve to play in the first class stadium that las vegas is proposing. dozens of san jose police

officers responded to the stadium after a fight broke out among soccer teams for the same team. cell phone video shows bottles and rockets being thrown at the bus, while many were traveling to watch two mexican teams. the crowds dispersed when police arrived, nobody was majorly hurt or arrested. and san jose police asking for anybody to come forward with any information about a car crash, the man was hit by a vehicle and later died at the hospital. the victim's name has not been released. police say no other information was released. this vehicle pedestrian death is the ninth this year. and developing news out of cincinnati, police tonight are looking for several shooting suspects who opened fire inside a crowded nightclub during a dispute this morning rn. one person died, 15 others hurt. more on the latest. >> reporter: multiple gunmen
