chase through the santa cruz mountains that ended in a crash and the suspect's car ran into the center divider of highway 17 near summit road. police were chasing him following a possible hit-and-run. sheriff deputies and chp picked it up near the county line and whps he crashed. the chp says they don't think alcohol or drugs were involved but he was in an altered state. back to you. happening now, b.a.r.t. riders getting to test out the newest extension. the warm springs south fremont station extends the line five miles south of the fremont station and the first station to open on the extension. this is video from saturday. our own matt keller is there, and he will bring us a live report coming up. and then a man trying to kidnap a teen in san francisco is expected to be in court.

lee aoeug annual is charged with six counts. he grabbed the force her into his car, and two bystanders heard the screams and stopped that kidnapping. police arrested moises martin and he is a volunteer volleyball coach. police are trying to determine if there are more victims. happening today the man arrested in san francisco for a qu quadruple murder is accused of killing four people in a sacramento home on thursday. a 45-year-old woman and her son and daughter, and the fourth victim was a 24-year-old woman from san francisco. police have not revealed a motive or what relationship he

has with the victims. rocks, models and smoke bombs. a fight broke out between fans rooting for the same team. melanie woodrow has the story. >> reporter: cell phone video shows fans throwing rocks and bottles outside the stadium, and striking the bus many travelled on to san jose from los angeles to watch a soccer team. >> the bus w rocks -- not rocks, but boulders. savages. >> they were fans of the same team. >> it just seemed kind of weird for us to see, you know, fans of the same team fighting. for a reason, we have no clue. >> what it is, competition. we are better fans that you are

and then a crash left a person in credit kritical condi yesterday. police investigated the collision between a car and two vans. the force of that crash sent one person flying on to the pavement. >> one was ejected from the car, and we are working out whether or not it was a passenger window that has been shattered or the sunroof. >> a helicopter flew that person to a trauma center, and officers arrested the driver of the vehicle that caused that crash. and then trying to determine how a stolen suv ended river under the antioch bridge. a passerby called 911 after seeing the honda, and a tow truck pulled it back to land. the suv was reported stolen in livermore. and then the electric car

company of the future will not be building a facility in antioch and instead will focus on completing the first factory in north las vegas. there was a cash crunch. a bill that would allow cities and counties to extend last calls for california bars faces its first hurdle this week. it's a bill that would move the current 2:00 a.m. closing time back two hours. supporters say it will create a safer night life but it would increase drunk driving. the senate safety committee will take up the bill tomorrow. there's a severe weather threat for millions of people, golf ball sized and baseball-sized hail pummeled

watch the left side of this crowded up escalator in a hong kong mall. it suddenly reverses directions sending dozens people tumbling down and 18 was hurt. the escalator is one of the city's longest and connects the fourth and eighth floors of the mall. two techs were arrested and suspected of tampering with the escalator causing the accident. and then angry tweets because an agent would not allow the girls to board the planes yesterday morning. in response they said the girls were traveling using a united pass. the teens agreed to change their clothing and they were put on a later flight.
