this morning, and breezy so slightly cooler numbers by 4:00, and low 70s around the bay, and 60s at the coast. sue has a new crash for us. first reports of an accident southbound at the golden gate bridge. apparently it's by the administrative parking lot just pass the toll plaza, and possibly an overturn but traffic flowing nicely with four lanes in the southbound direction. and then the muni delay, it's a mechanical delay, and no problems with b.a.r.t. or ace train. we will check back on the fire in vallejo to see if it's affecting your drive in a few minutes. if you cross the carquinez bridge during your commute, emergency repair work is happening today. >> it could be extremely tough getting through the toll plaza this morning, and kate larson is at the bridge with more.

kate? >> reporter: yes, that's right. right now traffic is picking up and it's still moving here on the eastbound side of the bridge here at the toll plaza, but at 7:00 that is going to change because caltrans is shutting down three of the lanes here at the toll plaza, and let's look at some video. they are doing emergency road repair work. as you can see from the video we took this morning, the road looks smooth, and we spoke to caltrans and they said the damage is beneath the surface of the road, and they are shutting down the little lanes in the middle of the bridge to the three lanes in the toll phrlaza and expected to open at 3:00. expect major delays. if you come this way, try to leave a little earlier because it's going to back up here at

the toll phrlaza in about an ho. >> we have been warned. thank you. antioch police investigating a shooting that took place outside cruisers saloon. officers found a victim with a single gunshot wound and went to a nearby hospital and we don't have his condition right now. the shooter is still on the loo loose. call antioch police if you have information that can help track down that suspect. and then a 23-year-old man left dead on k street near west 7th street around 8:40 last night. an ambulance rushed him to the hospital where he underwent surgery but shortly after the victim died. no information released on the possible suspect in this case or what led up to the shooting. a man accused of kidnapping and assaulting and holding a teenage hostage for 27 hours. it was for an entire 40-mile trip from napa to bodega bay.

this started on friday when the man, marble, lured the girl into his truck and that's when things took a dark turn according to police. >> he injected her with amphetamine, and he pulled out a knife and started to cut her leg superficially and then with a razor blade he started to carve his name into her arm. >> horrifying. and then the girl escaped on highway 1 by jumping from the moving truck. she hid in the nearby bushes and that's when, for some reason, marble called 911 himself. when deputies got there the teen came out of the bushes and explained what happened, and the police arrested marble and the girl is back home recovering from that ordeal. several dead after two explosions at the metro system

in st. petersburg russia. there were two simultaneous blast according to state-run media, and one was on a subway car, and this is the video you are seeing from the doors. mangled. you can see how many people are there in the subway. the doors were almost entirely blown off. the other explosion, we are hearing happened at another subway station and no word on whether that blast was on a subway car. at least ten people were killed. many others were injured. seven of the city's metro stations have been closed, and you can can see a very chaotic scene there right now, and russian president, vladimir putin, expressed already this morning his condolences for the victims. back to you. >> very concerning. thank you. a teenage boy faces assault charges following an attack on facebook live. this start on march 19th when a 15-year-old victim vanished on

gate bridge. it's a beautiful shot and we had earlier reports of an overturned accident near the parking lot south of the toll plaza, and it's not affecting traffic if it's there, and everybody is moving at the limit. otherwise let's take a look around the bay area. we had an earlier fire that is out between wilson and highway 29. and got this accident off to the shoulder, eastbound 12 at stoney point, and injuries are involved and a tow truck on the scene and that car is facing the wrong direction. and then north 101, reports of a car and a deer. that in just a few minutes. shiny and new, the springs station, and the problem is not enough trains. matt keller live for us in fremont for what this issue is all about.

president says the death toll from a massive mudslide now has climbed to 254 people. the desperate search for hundreds still missing continues this morning. torrential rain on friday night caused three rivers surrounding the area to overflow that sent mud surging through the city. 600 survivors are in makeshift shelters without power, no gas, no telephone service and with nearly no clean water. 42 california counties getting another major infusion of federal cash to help with storm-related damage. the trump administration announced yesterday $540 million headed to california to cover the damage for the storms. it's the fourth federal injection of federal dollars from the president. more than half of the money will go to fixing the
