>> it stands firm against the water until it doesn't. >> oh, no. >> oh, gosh. if the truck is getting swept away, how can the people stand a chance? >> exactly. the person in that truck was able to make it to safety. but the truck, it was swept away into the ocean. >> at that point you feel that start to move it's now or never. >> you could see it being tossed and turned in the ocean. it did come to a rest. this is what it looks like now. >> it's a toyota it'll still run. >> 1,000 people had to be evacuated. firefighters had to traverse into the swift water to get this man. one slips to the ground but his buddy is able to hold him up. there are people on the side of the road tying that hose to another tree trying to anchor them to make sure nobody is washed away.

unfortunately this is an all-too-familiar scene from indonesia. a guy grabs at the woman inside and tries to steal her handbag. the thing is in this case boy, oh, boy did they pick the wrong neighborhood. she starts screaming for help. these two guys come running for them. flying kick to unseat them from the motorbike. from the other side, another guy comes in. these two guys are being roughed up by the local neighborhood. you can see one of them taking hits from his own motorcycle helmet while they try to subdue the guy on the floor. he physically grabs hold of the motorbike. this is when more guys show up. >> i hope that end up with nothing. no helmets, no bike. >> one runs off to the side while the other guy is on the floor. not the end of the story. the lady who was attack, no losses, no injuries. she made a police report and it was arrested. >> it takes a village to beat down a robber.
