berkeley earlier this month to support the ban. and then the director promising to be more aggressive when using a bond to improve service. the officials only spent $12 million of the bond voters approved three years ago. the san francisco supervisors board demanded answers from muni's director, and he is blaming the challenging construction bidding process. the board plans to hold another hearing in the fall. happening today the state senate expected to vote on the gas bill. the 12 cent tax would raise about $52 billion over the next ten years, and that amounts to about 10 bucks a month per driver. most of the money would be used to fix local roads and potholes and some would fix bridges and help reduce congestion, and republicans say the governor
