before highway 4, two left lanes are blocked and traffic is flowing at 14 or 15 miles per hour and now backed up towards crocket, and two lanes and they are expecting a tow truck, and otherwise the i-80 commute not bad into the maze. and then the egypt suicide bombings, and five more people died overnight. more than 100 people were injured in the bombings in the palm sunday celebrations. isis claimed responsibility for both attacks. the president of egypt declared a state of emergency that is expected to last three months. here in the bay area, evening prayers went on as scheduled at a coptic christian church in hayward. coptic christians make up 10% of the population in egypt. in december a bomb killed 25 people.

creating a huge mess and knocking out power in the area. >> amy hollyfield is live at the scene with what it looks like now. hi, amy. >> reporter: they have been working on this all night long. they are using chainsaws to break it up piece by piece and they have a way to go. it landed on power lines, and it also took out power poles, knocking out electricity to 2,000 customers. they turned the lights back on for most of those customers and there are only 35 places that don't have power. i do think they will be here for a while trying to remove this tree. there's concern that more trees will fall later this week as another storm heads our way. these crews tell me it has been quite a season for them. reporting live in berkeley, amy hollyfield, abc7 news.

and then a man accused of killing his exgirlfriend in front of her children is due in court. he shot and killed franklin last tuesday morning as she was taking two children to daycare in richmond and mcbride was arrested the next day in sacramento. the shelter that has been housing flood victims in san jose since february plans to close down operations today. there are still at least 60 people staying at the seven trees community center. the community center could put them in hotels and motels for 30 days at a time. and the housing department is working on affordable housing options for those able not to return to their homes. and now to the live desk where delta airlines is on the minds of many travelers today, and delta says it's getting back on track after canceling thousands of flights the last few days. and delta cancelled 3,500

breaking news, a traffic stop in fremont followed by a deadly shooting and that suspect passed away. >> now investigators are working to figure out what led to the deadly confrontation. tiffany wilson is live near the scene. tiffany? >> reporter: we moved locations so you could better see what happened. this alley right behind the walgreen's off of fremont boulevard is where the officer-involved shooting took place but the confrontation began over at the a police officer requested backup because somebody in a car had a gun and when fremont police arrived a man from that car started running. we don't have details but police

college student is under investigation after video posted on social media shows her being slammed to the ground by police. this happened thursday in ft. collins. the 32-year-old boyfriend had been contained. the woman was arrested on suspicion of assault and obstructing a police officer. the officer used stanford procedure to subdue the woman and the arrest is still under investigation. sheriff deputies trying to

need any firewood? look at the pile of logs they accumulated overnight as they take the tree overnight. they made good progress in the couple hours we have been here, they removed the tree top. they are getting there but they worked all night long and they still do have a ways to go, and it's quite a project they have here. this is what it looked like last night, it fell at 8:00. this is next to the cal stadium, and the tree took out power poles and nearly 2,000 pg&e customers lost power. now only 35 customers don't have power, and they are estimating it will be on in a couple more hours, 8:30 this morning. and the concern is that more trees like this one will fall this week. i talked to the crews here and they shake their head when they talk about the season they have had and they say it has been amazing. reporting live in berkeley, amy

whiple. we'll be back to look at the bay bridge in just a few. we are tracking big news at the live desk for san francisco based wells fargo. the bank just announced it's taking back another $75 million from its former ceo and another top executive as well for the fake account scandal. it's canceling a $28 million bonus for the ceo. that's the result of a six-month investigation by wells fargo out this morning. the abuse was going on longer than the five years the bank has admitted to. new this morning, u.s. airlines are increasing on time performance and losing fewer bags. that's accord to a report released by researchers. 81.4% arrived on time or close to on time up from 2015. the rate of bags fell 17% and
