they are just getting started so they will be here for a while. we are at l and second and this area is shut down. look at the video, though. power not the only utility impacted. the car also hit a fire hydrant so water was shooting into the air, so quite a mess here from this crash. he also hit a power pole. this all started as a chase about 1:15 this morning, the chp suspected the driver had been involved in some kind of a crime and they have not said what they think he has done, and at one point during the chase he started to go the wrong way on highway 4, and chp called off the chase and later found out he exited at contra loma and then crashed and he did hit the fire hydrant and the power pole and the driver was taken into custody. i have not heard how he's doing or what charges he could face but we do know that they are going to be -- the intersection is going to be closed here for a while here in antioch while they

clean up and fix the damage that was done. live in antioch, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. and then a suspect car crashed into another car hurting two other people. the police suv was in pursuit when it hit a car at 8th avenue and dowling street. the police have not said if any officers were among the injured. the suspect who was being chased was arrest add short time later. a two-car crash in san jose last night left one driver dead and the other critically injured. the collision happened near the 85 highway off-ramp around 9:30, and one person died and the other in critical condition, and neither driver had any passengers in their car. activist in san francisco are vowing to take action over the d.a.'s decision not to charge two police officers in a deadly 2015 shooting. critics say the investigation was focused on khraerg the

worry about the weather. you will not have to worry about the bay bridge commute. we did have a significant issue around 4:15, maybe earlier than that, we had a crash westbound on the bay bridge towards the fremont exit and all lanes except the left lane blocked for 15 or 20 minutes. and as you can see now we are back in the green so that thinned out quickly. we have one problem in the south bay, southbound 87 as you get to airport parkway, standing water caused one car to spinout and crash and obviously not causing delays either. we will take a look at drive times coming up just before 5:00. an 8-year-old boy gets a craving for a mcdonald's cheeseburger and drives to the restaurant, and how he learned to drive will blow you away. the youngster that had his
