she posted signs at the trail. following a sunday afternoon attack. >> i saw some single women running and walking on the trail by themselves and i just wanted to make sure that it was not going to happen to somebody else. >> reporter: the sheriff''ses of said that a 24-year-old woman ran the trail around 1:15. he yelled at her and pushed her and tried to sexually assault her. >> reporter: the woman fought back and kbot to her car and called for help. >> we know there's known homeless camps. >> reporter: the victim described the man as white, in his 50s and had a scruffy appearance. they run the trail often. >> total surprise. i would have never guessed that coming from the trail for sure. >> it's a safe city, normally. it's out of character for the town.

the next 12 hours. it's an unsettled pattern that we are. it's 50s across the coast, to the bay and inland and the numbers are your wake-up temperatures, they are not going to budget that much tonight. with the cloud cover, you can see, we are going to stay in the 50s at least through the next 12 hours or so. on the storm impact scale, it ranks a one, right now through tuesday, we have light to moderate showers moving through. expecting minimal rainfall amounts in most areas, less than a quarter of an inch, inconvenient timing and the winds will be light, five-15 miles an hour. 2:00 early in the morning on tuesday. you will see light showers around. as we get in to the tuesday morning commute, we will track wet roadways. isolated showers out there. as we go through the day tuesday, the showers will diminish. and tuesday afternoon, i do expect more in the way of
