>> reporter: he said the stabbing victim is expected to survive. his investigators will be working into the night on this deadly officer-involved shooting. and we have new details from a witness. argument between a subway employee and man broke out, possibly over a sandwich. resulted in stabbing. witness snapped this photo. >> two dudes arguing and cops showing up and telling him to get down and hella hella hella h >> reporter: two police officers walking beat. >> observed stabbing a filipino male, intervened. >> reporter: saw a four inch knife afterwards. >> i heard two. that's all.
