cooler weather today and here's a look at san mateo bridge. you can see some of the drizzle on the lens there as we look to the west. 50 to 56, that's this morning's temperatures. 56 to 67? what? what happens to the 90s? what happened to the 80s and the 70s? they are all gone. they do come back in the forecast but not after a chilly weekend and a slight chance of showers. i want to take you back to san jose where we have a disabled vehicle in the far right lane on southbound 101 before brokaw road. that vehicle was hit by a couple more so sounds like a three-car crash and they are calling for an ambulance to the scene and they are holding traffic. things are light this time of day along that stretch and not seeing a big backup yet and we will have the latest details and take a look at drive times coming up around 5:10. developing news in san jose with the owners of the school. trying to figure out what

happened after somebody ransacked it. >> matt keller is live at the tomorrow montessori school. >> reporter: we are here at the school and they have a chain linked fence up around the building and at the gate they have a dead bolt and chain but was not enough to keep the vandals up, and they have a sign up that says sorry, closed due to vandalism. we want to show you what we shot earlier this morning, and this happened overnight on wednesday swao thursday. students 6 weeks to 6 years old were supposed to have a big "star wars" party on thursday, but that didn't happen because of the vandalism. they posted a picture of one of the rooms and the mess that was left behind. so far a dozen people donated money close to $5,000. the goal is $10,000.

in the morning. this is a live look at south san francisco. look at all the tents there, and it's breezy and cold and dozens of parents are camped out overnight and trying to get a coveted spot in an afternoon school program for their kids and they are only s six schools. some parents have been camped out since wednesday night. registration is opening in less than two hours. >> they are doing it for their kids. happening today in the north bay, finally relief for people that rely on a key section of a road that was badly damaged by winter storms. our media partner says cars will be able to use highway 1, but there's still one-way traffic in place but expect delays. work is still being done to fix

the post sparked large protest at the school back in march and the students claim they were boubea rated. the student that posted it could be expelled. who is hacking our school cameras? that's what one school board in canada is trying to figure out. there's an investigation into the use of webcam surveillance. officials only recently learned the video feed could be viewed by some online. a link to the camera was found on a russian website. the school is now checking all of its security camera settings to make sure this is not going to happen again. to happen again. and today is seen cody mayo. this year it's going to cost you a whole lot more.

bridge and benicia bridge at this point. ace one is delayed about 16 minutes. and a quick side note, 350 students will be riding ace 7 this morning and returning on ace 10 this afternoon. they will add extra cars to accommodate all those folks. cal train launched a new website aimed at helping to plan for the future. that agency wants feedback on plans to replace the diesel trains with new electric trains. it will need more grant money to get this thing complete. preliminary plans for electric trains were unveiled yesterday. other interesting points coming out of the meeting, cal train facing a $20 million deficit this year, and one-third of passengers are new and have taken the trains less than a year, and avoiding traffic is the number one reason for avoiding train. in march, trains were on time

we're back at 5:43. caught on camera a. thief sneaking into a home in southern california. the woman that lives there was in a wheelchair and was in the bathroom while this whole thing was unfolding. >> when i came out of the bathroom he saw -- i saw him, and i said what the hell are you doing here? >> don't blame her for that, right? you can see the moment the thief sees her, and she wheeled after him cursing the whole time. good for her. she said she's mad and not scared. the thief stole 30 cross necklaces from all over the world and other jewelry and her purse. she did not get a good look at the suspect but the camera did and riverside police are looking for him. for him. guests will join a phus hru muslim for dinner.
