in any capacity. sprinkles across the north bay. coolest tomorrow, and plenty of sunshine for mother's day. here's a look at the area of low pressure we have been tracking since it was up in alaska. it likes the bay area so much it will stay for the next seven days, and because of that there's no spring warmth for the next seven days. and 59 downtown today, and the warmest spot could be the mission at 65 if we are lucky. oakland, 66, and most of the neighborhoods 63 to 67 degrees. and south bay, 69 and remains cool. and east bay valleys will head in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees as we continue the break from the spring warmth. on the peninsula today, kind of a raw day. upper 50s there with drizzle possible and up in the north bay, our best chance for wet weather and temperatures in the low to mid-60s. tonight will be in the low and i will say upper 40s to low 50s.

years old. he has dementia, and he has been missing since last night. search and rescue crews headed out early this morning to try and find him. they have a few dogs with him as well trying to pick up his scent. they drove to san rafael and ended up at city hall where he struck up with a conversation with a stranger. >> he had spoken to an individual who lent his phone to him, and he then called his wife and let her know that he was in this area, so the search is taking place with the city hall being the central area for that search. >> reporter: police tell me they launched the search because they have good information of where he could be, and so they set the command post up here at city hall but still have not found him, so they are asking everybody to keep an eye out for him as they go about their day.

of a porn actress's claim that she was bit by a shark. she said she needed 20 stitches following a recent attack. the video has a lot of views. 14 million so far. the owner of the shark-diving company in florida says he knows this is fake because he was asked by an adult filmmaker to help create a video that would go viral. that owner declined and then he saw the video popped up later, and so somebody helped her out. he is upset and said they are exploiting sharks as fame. and this comes as authorities are deciding this morning if it's safe to let swimmers go into the water along the coast in long beach. marine biologist said the sharks are being attracted by an abundance of food by stingrays and halibut. workout consistently and often. a new research study out of

now at 6:00, breaking news in marin county. the search for a missing man is over. >> we just got word that robert rich has been found. let's get to amy hollyfield live for us in san rafael. amy. >> reporter: hi, natasha. they found him 25 miles from here at his home, hitchhiked from san rafael and got a ride home. this is 71-year-old robert rich. he disappeared last night. his car is in san rafael and they found it along with the keys inside of it and he wondered away from it and suffers from dementia. 21 members headed out to look for him and they were about to call in the second team when they got the call from his wife, and that happened just about 20 minutes ago, that he worked into the door of their home, and he is safe and he is okay. they are not sure what he did all night.
