twitter and e-mail. arun asks, i have an online bank account. i get charged a $3 fee every time i check it. is this legal? >> three bucks, that's amazing. is it legal? it would depend on your bank's policy. every bank has their own set of rules and they are allowed to generally by law. the consumer financial protection bureau says banks are able to charge their customers for services and the term services is really loose. some examples include printing of paper statement at an atm machine. that's a service, unbelievable. and ordering a new checkbook, ask your bank to waive the fees they charged you, i'd say get another bank. 3 bucks, just checking? >> that's not good. paul from san francisco asked on facebook, my mom and dad have stored batteries in the refrigerator since i can remember. they claim it makes them last longer. is this true? >> not any more. it's not for most modern batteries, pardon me, made of

4:51 pm
now, if you're looking for new credit, you can temporarily take it off and put it back on. let me give you a couple tips here on that. in california it costs ten bucks to place a freeze with each of the three credit bureaus. there is a great loop hole here. if you have fierld an i.d. i.d.. or 65 years or older, it's free. when they tell you you got your i.d. ripped off, keep in touch with that. >> how -- >> place your video on social media and i'll answer it right here. >> thank you, michael. >> funny man will ferrell delivered this year's commencement speech at his alma mater. buckle up. it was his first time addressing an actual university, but not his first speech. >> the institutions to which i have spoken at previously include bryman school of
