start to our monday morning commute. here's a live look outside the bay bridge toll plaza, the metering lights on so typical delays through the maze. a quick check of drive times this morning, and not too bad getting there on westbound 80 between highway 4 and the maze. if you are headed to the airport shouldn't take you too long to get there, san francisco to sfo nine minutes. and we will take a look at a crash coming up next. and then tracking a house fire in the east bay that left two firefighters hurt. >> and the unusual part of this story, the people who live in this house could be facing criminal charges. for more on this let's get to abc7 news reporter, amy hollyfield, who is live in antioch. >> reporter: yeah, they saved the house, firefighters did. you can see there is damage, the blackened facade and they lost a window here, and they say all of this happened because the owner was stealing electricity.

here's a look at the scene at 11:00 last night, and they say they saw black smoke as they were driving to the fire and called for a second alarm. two firefighters suffered from being electricitily shocked when they went inside the home and that's how they figured out it has been illegally wired. >> it's a crime and injury to firefighters is also a crime, and it's consider filing criminal charges against the responsible party. >> here's a look investigators gave us inside the walls. the residents were stealing from the neighbor because they couldn't afford electricity. the residents here on blythe drive in antioch did get out okay and nobody else was hurt. alameda county and oakland firefighters continue to put out hot spots at a construction fire in emeryville. this happened two days after it started. yesterday you could see the

construction crane was brought down in what is being called a controlled fall. still scary to watch, and that's after a fire early saturday morning at the holiday development project at san pablo avenue and 39th street. this is the second fire at the development in less than a year. in july a fire was ruled suspicious and some think this one is, too. the developer says there was 12 surveillance cameras outside the property that could end up helping investigators. happening now, people returning to work could find their computers infected following a worldwide ransom cyber attack. it exploits a vulnerability on windows shared on line by hackers last month. homeland security security adviser spoke on g phfpma this morning. >> to those who have not updated

a neighbor's camera captured what happened yesterday morning. another neighbor saw the action from his apartment window. >> i saw two cars side by side blow through this stop sign, you know, high speeds, but continuous bullets ringing out. >> police are still looking for the two cars a. gray sedan and red bmw coop. and then happening yesterday afternoon at a smoke shop on north texas street, and witnesses tell police a man walk into the store and pulled a gun and the store clerk pulled out his gun and shot the man in his chest. the suspect now in critical condition. the clerk is not facing any charges. 6:07 now, and investigators in new york city this morning are trying to pinpoint the cause of a massive fire that destroyed a historic signal ag

welcome back, everybody. an update on the global cyber attack. we told you a few moments ago the homeland security land security adviser was on "good morning america" saying it's under control in the united states, and there's good news from the global attack in europe, and attempts to contain it are working right now. they are calling that a big relief this morning. we thought as business got going today the number of companies affected would skyrocket around the world, but now the big question is, will u.s. companies be affected as the business day opens here. back to you guys. >> we should know soon. thank you. new developments this morning in west virginia where peaceful protesters denounce a demonstration by white nationalists. it was to show opposition to the rally you see here on saturday.

reaching you. around 64 to 66 degrees along the east bay. and 69 to about 73 degrees from danville to brentwood today. here's a look at your lows tonight. 47 in santa rosa to about 52 in richmond, and there was a little green out there. so let's talk about it. 4:00 tomorrow morning, and a little drizzle along the coast, and it's up in the north bay where the cold front is sweeping through. where we could possibly have a chance of light showers during the morning hours. we will dissipate towards noon, and in the afternoon and evening hours, we will refire as the cold front moves through the southern half of the bay area, and by wednesday morning, they are gone. a couple inch at all. and the heat is on friday, saturday and sunday. 70s, 80s and 90s. alexis? i want to head back to the issue in the man low park.

it was a serious crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the marsh road on-ramp to 101, the westbound i should say, and part of the ramp is back open. the rest are continuing that investigation. if you want to use willow road on-ramp to northbound 101 that is probably a better choice but have not seen any huge delays in the area. and also a problem, if you are leaving the cornelia area and going southbound before you get to marshview road, we have semi crash, and you are a little skwrap jammed there. mike and i have come to the conclusion, we need to lens here, and we have heavy stop and go traffic. we will look at drive times coming up next. >> i have been wondering about that every since you said it last week, and i am glad you

it happened again. this morning as they have done dozens of time in the past, they are investigating a highway shooting. >> this time two people got hurt on 880. matt keller is live for us in hayward. >> reporter: traffic is backing up on southbound 880 before the exit for the san mateo bridge, but the good news for commuters this morning, the witnessen avenue exit and on-ramp is open after it was closed overnight. a troubling incident, two people

shot as they were exiting on whitten avenue. it was traveling around 9:00 last night and taking the whitten off-ramp when another vehicle pulled up on the driver's side and opened fire. two of the three occupants were shot and were taken to the hospital and are stable with nonlife threatening injuries. no witnesses have come forward at this time and they don't have a description of the suspect's vehicle. if somebody saw something last night, the chp is asking for you to give them a call. reporting live in hayward, matt keller, abc7 news. on that note, happening today the fbi and chp are holding a news conference with leaders to discuss the installation of cameras on two freeways in the east bay, and that will be held at 9:00 at the contra costa's supervisor's chambers. shootings have happened in the past on 880 and highway 4.

new this morning it took san jose firefighters nearly an hour to get a two-alarm fire at a house under control, and it happened near 24th and san antonio. somebody tried to help firefighters by spraying water from a fire hose and somebody driving by spot the flames and called 911. >> it was really bad. the house almost collapsed. we stopped and talked to the family and we helped them out and gave them water. >> nobody was hurt. the cause is under investigation. grief counselors are going to be at union city high school today to help students and faculty cope with the death of a senior weeks away from graduation. she died in a car crash early yesterday morning in fremont. her mother was actually driving shane home when another car plowed into them. the mother has major injuries, and is expected to survive. shane had just spent the night at the james logan high school prom. >> she was supposed to be

graduating like next month, and then, like, just not seeing that just hurts my heart, and like i just want to see her graduate. >> the people in the car that hit shane and her mother have minor injuries, and fremont police are look into weather alcohol or speeding may have played a role in the crash. you may have noticed more traffic and car accidents and the top reason is unsafe drivers that speed, tailgate or suddenly change lanes. there were nearly 1,000 crashes last year, and that is double the year from three years before that, and part of the reason is the indefinite closure of the road washed out this winter. a lot of you this morning are going to be watching your computers carefully when you get into work and that's because they could have become infected as part of a worldwide cyber attack. there are reports of the ransom

ware spreading in asia this morning. the initial attack happened on friday, and it hit fedex, medical networks and universities and scores of other organizations, and the virus works by exploiting a vulnerability on pcs. the flaw was discovered by the nsa and then stolen by hackers and published online. microsoft release add patch in march that picks the flaw, and not everybody updated but that's how you fix your computer for attacks. >> there are also tips to avoid the attacks entirely, including don't click on any attachments that you are not 100% sure of, and back up your computer files regularly. north korea sent out a threatening message about its u.s. missile test, and it flew

i want to take you back to the inbound marsh road on-ramp and you will be able to use the ramp and you may want to use the willow road on-ramp instead, and that is going to result in a faster drive time for you. this all started with a car versus ped crash half an hour ago and they are still working on that investigation. we don't have an estimate on when that will fully clear, and it's not on the main road just on the ramp. and then we had a two-vehicle crash on the shoulder, and still have heavy traffic and it sounds like there's debris in the roadway from the crash, so they are still working on that, and then a quick check of walnut creek as well. southbound 680, if you really look closely there towards the top of your screen off on the right-hand shoulder, a crash involving a motorcycle and car. it was in the left lane briefly,

along the east bay shore, a tight temperature gradient there, about 64 to 66 degrees with oakland and orinda at 65, and the warm spot will be out near brentwood at 73 degrees. there's the way it looks from mount tamalpais. here's one last look at the 12-hour day planner, 39 in the north bay to 51. and then breezy, 55 to 63 to 59 at sunset. and then i want to head back to the traffic maps where we have the westbound marsh ramp on 101 blocked and this is a crash involving a pedestrian early this morning and sounds like there's major injuries to the pedestrian unfortunately. it looks like we have a dissented backup approaching that, along with the willow road
