filed freed. and that turned out to be a scam. >> it appears that less than $70,000 paid in ransoms. we are not aware if payments led to data recovery. >> the hacking group who ever they are, launched two variants of their ransomware. both were caught in time and shut down before they could spread too far. the supreme court won't revive north carolina's controversial voter id law. a lower court found the law discriminated against black voters. state republican leaders vowing to fight for what they call a common sense requirement to show photo id at the polls. hillary clinton lauched a new political action group. called onward together. and clinton says it is meant to encourage people to get involved, organized and even run for office. the group's logo, graphics, resemble those from clinton's campaign, specifically clinton says onward together will support five leading grassroots causes.
