now from abc 7, live breaking news. breaking news in san jose, sky7 live above bridges academy where a bottle was found filled with liquid and labeled nitrojis run that can be used as an explosive. this is between baucas drive. the label was handwritten. they are in the cafeteria as a precaution and the immediate area on lockdown. >> that start the at morning when a custodian found the bottle in the trash can. they removed the bottle from campus and they called police. officers say the situation is

highly suspicious. they are searching the school top to bottom and the liquid will be tested before they dispose of it. >> go ahead, down load our app for breaking news throughout the day. >> thank you for joining us this midday. >> developing news in the east bay as four are hospitalized after a horrible car crash in the hills. the engine ended up in the driver's lap. neighbors voice concerns over the stretch of load. we are live in redwood road, amy? >> reporter: we have just learned the victims ages. police telling us all four of them are between 18 and 22. officers also now saying they think the car was speeding. firefighters say rescuing these victims was intense and complicated. it took firefighters nearly two hours to pull the victims out of this crashed car. they had to use the jaws of

life, hydraulic equipment, and wench systems to get to the two people trapped inside. >> last person extra kated was pinned, legs under the dash board, the driver of the car. the car was up against the side of the tree, difficult to work on the vehicle. >> car uprooted a tree when it crashed. crews moved the war away from the tree to get to the patient. one fire fighter climbed in the backseat to help. watch as the car is flipped off its side while the firefighter is inside. they also had to sheer the roof off of the car. all while a man and woman could be heard moaning in pain inside. >> vehicle coming up the hill, high rate of speed, playing loud music. >> the security guard had a bad feeling something was going to happen when he saw the car on redwood road this morning. he watched as the driver did a fast u-turn, then seconds later heard the crash. he was the first one on the scene. >> flames in the engine compartment, yelling, screaming, help, help, help.

>> reporter: four people were inside. the call arrived at 3:25 and rescued by 515. those who live around this road constantly worry about its curves and steep hills. >> i'm not surprised. there's a lot of fast cars on this hill. be extra cautious turning. i don't want the cars to hit me and my family. >> reporter: officers were so worried about the two trapped passengers that they brought out their fatal investigative team just in case, but looks like they are going to survive. the two are listed in critical, but stable condition. the other two passengers are in stable condition. live in oakland, amy holly field, abc 7 news. >> thank you. in the south bay, expect to soon learn the ie decdentity ofn shot and killed last night around 10:00. officers were patrolling the area when they heard gunshots. by the time they found the victim, it was too late. the man was hit at least once and died at the hospital.

so far, police have made no arrests. new developments in a story we brought you weeks ago. we are talking about flairing at the refinery, and it's been happening on and off since may 5th, and now it's causing issues for people who live and work nearby. an oil residue dripped in the refinery is coating vehicles. take a look. they are now offering free car wash vouchers and some people are getting sick. >> had one employee throw up. i had sent 30 to the emergency room. we didn't get any notice about anything going on. >> the mayor patterson says she's disappointed with the communication and cooperation between the refinery and the city. the refinery is offline until next month. one report shows gas prices climb with the refinery's delayed restart. zplmplgts new details in the tragedy in times squarement the driver charged in a crash that killed an 18-year-old girl and

injured two dozen others add milted to smoking marijuana laced with pcp. this is the moment of the crash yesterday. the driver, 26-year-old richard rojas was in court this morning, charged with murder, attempted murder, and aggravated vehicular homicide. prosecutors say after he got out of the car he said, quote, i wanted to kill them. the 18-year-old killed is identified as melissa, a tourist from michigan. three people are still hospitalized in critical condition. happening now, president trump is getting ready to depart for his first international trip, set to leave from joint base andrews in a few minutes. the journey begins in saudi arabia and includes visits to the holiest sites. air force 1 is getting ready. meeting with pope francis and nato leaders. comes as the administration deals with problems at home. the deputy attorney general is briefing lawmakers for a second day to explain president's controversial decision to fire

this morning. watch as the school employee is on video grabbing a student by the neck and lifting him up off the ground. that student is 13 years old. you can see his feel dangling lifted off the floor and carried down the hall. this was in a school with academic and behavioral issues. his lawyer claims the boy was disobeying directions. anthony weiner could be going to prison pleading guilty today to transmitting sexual material to a minor. he and a 15-year-old girl sectioned for months. he would be in prison up to 27 months and would register as a sex offender. he was released on bail today and sentencing hearing is scheduled september 8. a special tribute in san francisco. how you can take part. live look at the east bay hills camera. mike is tracking the warm weekend to come.
