bob tang owns the car and he's now missing. police found tang's car parked at san francisco international airport and that's driving suspicions that he traveled to his native cambodia. abc7 spoke with a woman at tang's home. she knows both men. >> i cannot go into work right now. i'm so so >> okay. >> she cannot eat. >> chhay's car was found in san francisco. police have searched the location along with other properties in the east bay. happening today, the napa county district attorney's county district attorney's office tells the abc7's that in the hazing case, they have identified 14 members of the school's football team for

potential criminal charges related to hazing and assault. one coach was under investigation for failing to report hazing and there may have been as many as 16 victims. the school expelled 9 students over this case. you likely went to sleep before you saw these election results. the montana candidate charged with assaulting a report won a special election. greg gianforte won. he got 51% of the vote. the race drew national attention after gianforte was accused of body slamming a reporter on wednesday and by now you've likely heard this audio. >> i'm sick and tired of you guys. get the hell out of here. get the hell out of here. >> last night, gianforte apologized to reporter ben jacobs. he says what he did was a

sources tell jared kushner, trump's son-in-law, is now going to be questioned in the russian case. >> reporter: as son-in-law and senior adviser, jared kushner has been by the president's side. now sources tell abc news that kushner sl one who will likely be interviewed by the fbi in connection with the russian investigation, though he's not a target and has not been accused of committing a crime. kushner's lawyer said the first son-in-law would cooperate, writing in a statement mr. kushner previously volunteered to share with congress what he knows about these meetings. he'll do the same if contacted in connection with any other inquiry. of particular interest to investigators is a transition meeting with russian ambassador kislyak and a separate meeting with a russian executive. meanwhile, trump's tour continues in europe today.

strip mall outside of los angeles in van nuys around 10:00 last night. no one was hurt. part of the building's roof caved in and an air conditioning unit fell into the strip mall. it took more than 100 firefighters more than an hour to put out the blaze. investigators will look to see what sparked the fire. >> a four-alarm fire raged in the central valley for hours. this started just after 5:00 in a stockton rail yard. high winds caused the fire to burn quickly. the wind chief says he hasn't seen the wind like this since 1991. some got hurt with burns to their arms. costing millions of dollars to reopen highway 1 buried under

a mudslide near big sur on saturday, cal trans believes there are five active slides in the area. the monterey herald reports that engineers will use radar and drones to learn more about those slides. it may take weeks to come up with a plan to fix the highway. well, for the third straight year, the warriors will battle the cleveland cavs in the nbc finals. >> we appreciate the fans that have stayed here. >> yep. >> last night, the cavs blew out the celtics in boston to win the eastern conference championship. las vegas has the warriors strongly favored. abc7 is the only place you can see the finals, game one on thursday. coverage starts at 5:30 as the warriors try to avenge last year's loss to cleveland. will the off season of kevin durant be enough to beat the

welcome back at the live desk this morning. we'r tracking a crash that closed the new jersey turnpike overnight. i want to show you new video showing a tour bus overturned after a crash with the semi truck. this is outside of philadelphia. incredibly, the 30 people hurt only had minor injuries. the bus was heading from new york city to atlanta, georgia. the turnpike reopened after several hours. police, though, right now are still trying to figure out which driver is at fault. police on the peninsula need your help identifying an arsonist before he strikes again. a surveillance camera captured the crime. katie marzullo has more. >> reporter: after he turns his back, the flames illuminate his long, dark hair. the crime is captured by a subtle surveillance camera in

this tree. this man was home the night it happened around 9:45 on may 13th. >> i smelled smoke and i go over there and see water and put it on there. >> reporter: the man set a pair of boots on fire on the sidewalk near flynn avenue and meadow lane. the flames charred this cinder block home. this woman on the other side of the wall didn't want to be identified but she was asleep when it happened. >> i was looking out the window. my cat gave no response. >> reporter: she said it's scary to think about what would have happened if her trees caught on fire. >> it's disturbing when someone is in that mental state to do something like that. >> reporter: police believe the same man was jumping on people's roofs later that same night. >> kind of scared because, you know, that never happened here. i've been living here for 25

years. >> reporter: you're asked to call redwood city police if you have any information about the fire. in redwood city, katie abc7 news. a bill requiring law enforcement agencies to track the number of unmatched rape kits could reach the state senate. they argue the financial burden would fall on law enforcement agencies to collect the new data. san francisco's congressman ordered the bill and says that it would help determine which law enforcement departments need more resources to test kits. this is an issue that the abc7 i-team has been following closely. in 2014, the i-team uncovered thousands of test kits across the bay area. oakland will pay out nearly $1 million to settle a claim involving several police officers caught in a sex scandal. the claim was filed by jasmine, previously known as celeste.

the former sex worker was charged with having sex with a minor and giving her confidential information. she says that she had sex with two dozen officers from various departments. she also has claims in richmond and livermore. heads up if you're taking visitors to the golden gate bridge this memorial weekend. you can still get there. it's just going to be trickier. starting today, two parking lots at other end of the bridge are going to be closed to traffic. they've been doing this for a while now. the closures are to prevent traffic backing up during the busy holiday weekend. visitors can still get there but you have to take a bus or taxi or ride-hailing service. it will reopen to everyone on tuesday. let's take you out live to san francisco international airport where beginning tonight one of the longest runways will be shut down for maintenance between 10:00 tonight and 8:00

welcome back. we want to show you this. this train hits a tractor-trailer stopped on the tracks at an intersection. watch closely there. it happened in richmond two weeks ago but the video just came out. police say the driver of the truck tried to get out of the way but simply could not. they posted the video warning drivers to be careful. two weeks ago, amtrak told us that the truck appeared to be beating the train that was traveling between bakersfield and oakland. two other trains were stuck because of that crash. oakland international airport is going to improve its runway thanks to a grant. it was last repaved in 2001. it's overdue. the runway lights also need to be upgraded. the faa is expected to help with some of the costs.
